1. What year did the Great Depression occur?

2. What is Black Tuesday?

3. What caused the Great
Depression?

4. How did the Great Depression end?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

August 1929 – March 1933

Black Tuesday was an abrupt end to the rapid economic expansion of the roaring 20's, and is widely considered to be one of the causes behind the beginning of The Great Depression.

It began after the stock market crash of October 1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped out millions of investors.

World War II seems to mark the end of the Great Depression. During the war, more than 12 million Americans were sent into the military, and a similar number toiled in defense-related jobs. Those war jobs seemingly took care of the 17 million unemployed in 1939.

to what extent did african americans gain access to the founding ideals during the 1920sharlem renaissance

Answers

Answer:

In simple words, The Harlem Renaissance has been the early twentieth-century emergence of New York City's Harlem district as a Black cultural hotspot, as well as the ensuing social and creative boom that occurred.

Natural catastrophes inside the south displaced Black labourers and sharecroppers in 1915 and 1916. Furthermore, as mass migration to the United States dropped during and after World War I, northern recruiters travelled south to woo Black labour to their firms.

By 1920, over 300,000 Black People had relocated to the north, with Harlem being one among the greatest favored locations for these households.

Create a summary to explain in what way were the armies of the North and the South unprepared for war.

Answers

Answer:

The armies of the North and the South

Explanation:

The Civil war began in 1861 and lasted up to 1865. During the Civil War, both sides agreed to settle the matter of slavery through war. Despite agreeing both sides were somewhat weak and unprepared. The North was dependent on manufacturing industries that helped them produce war goods. The Union only had 16,000 trained soldiers. Most recruits didn't know how to fight and needed training.

The South had the military advantage because they fought for their land and had knowledge of the terrain (landscape) better than the North. The South had much more men trained as officers. The majority of the famous Generals and Commanders in America were from the Southern region including; Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, James Longstreet, Nathan Bedford Forrest, and others. The Southern officers (Confederate) known for their ambitious nature who followed the rules of honour and personal pride, which help them to fight together for the cause.

The South had a weak economy as they depended on agriculture and had no manufacturing industries. They also didn't have much transportation or a fleet of ships to blockaded and couldn't trade with European countries.

Which of the following developments in the period 1450-1750 could best be used as evidence to modify Darwin's argument in the first paragraph about the establishment of Eurasian empires on
nomadic foundations

Answers

Answer:

The letter D is the right answer.

Explanation:

The text presented by Darwin shows an argument that it was impossible to establish a Eurasian empire through nomadic foundations. However, the establishment of the Safavid Empire disputes this information, as this was one of the most influential and powerful Aryan empires ever seen in Eurasia. The Safávida Empire had a great cultural and religious influence that pierced even after its decline in 1722, reaching the Afexárida, Zande, Cajar and Pálavi dynasties. Currently, it is possible to see various elements of its influence in the current Islamic Republic of Iran.
