Answer 1

Answer:

The answer to this question depends on the particular poems you are examining at any given time. Byron, and more so Shelley, expressed a variety of different emotions and admiration for many different topics through their work. However, when speaking in broad terms, both poets shared several traits. Both poets were interested in aesthetics, and therefore, their poems often touch on the topic of beauty. Both poets were also Romantic, so they were interested in imagination, creativity and human emotion. They also celebrated and admired nature.

We Didn’t Know Until it Was Too Late!

That night everything changed. It was the morning of October 30, 1995 in the small town of Falls Haven where we all grew up. Sasha, Amanda, Josh, and I decided we wanted to throw a Halloween party since tomorrow was Halloween and our parents were out of town. Before the party, we got all the supplies we needed and got the house ready.
A few hours later, It was finally time for the party and every teen from the town showed up in their costumes. Sasha and Amanda wore a matching little red riding hood outfit with a pair of black flats. The two of them matching wasn’t surprising to anyone because they were twins and they did everything together whether it be small or big they did it and they were the craziest, down-to-earth people I know. Now Josh on the other hand was the opposite out of all of us, he was the popular kid, captain of the football team, the perfect guy you thought you would only see on T.V. He ended up coming to the party in just his red and black football jersey. I ended up wearing my yellow and black plaid outfit from my favorite movie Clueless.

~Later on that night~

“Hey Josh, have you seen Sasha anywhere? I haven’t seen her anywhere” I asked Josh.
“No I haven’t, but I can help you look for her” he said.
So that’s what we did, we looked everywhere, in the sparkly clean bathroom, in the old creaking tree house we used to go up when we were little, and every single cabinet and room in the house. It wasn’t until we went to the backyard we found her and what we saw will haunt us forever. What we saw was Sasha's body lying face down in the pool. Josh and I pulled her out of the pool and tried to get her conscious but everything we did nothing worked and so I checked her pulse and it was silent.
“I think she’s dead, what are we going to do? I said frantically.
“We need to call the police and tell them,” he said.
“No,no,no, no we can’t tell the police, if my mom were to find out I was having a party then I would be dead.” I said to him.
“Are you seriously only worried about your mom when our friend is literally dead” he said.
“Of course not, but we can’t tell the police because we will all be arrested if they were to show up since we were illegally drinking and smoking. We need to get rid of her body” I said to him.
“But where?” He asked.
“I think I know a place.” I said to him.
So we put Sasha’s body in a bag and poured bleach, baking soda, and detergent in as well so that it wouldn’t smell and then we went into the car and drove one and a half hour away to an old abandoned cabin in the woods and buried her body under the house.
“We can’t tell anyone what happened tonight or where we hid the body understand” I told him
“Okay, but what if someone asks anything about her?” He asks.
“Then you tell them that we couldn’t find her that night at the party and thought she just left and we tried to call her but she didn’t answer.” I said to him.
It's been months since Sasha’s death and everyone has slowly started to forget about it.
Amanda hasn’t been the same since her sister died and everytime I talk to her I just want to tell her the truth of what happened but I know it would just make things worse. I would ask her if she was okay and everytime her response was “yeah I’m fine” and I know deep down that she isn’t. As time went on, everyone forgot about what happened to Sasha and everything went back to normal. Two years later, Amanda ended up moving to California and becoming a doctor. She even ended up having two twin daughters with her husband Jack. As for Josh and I, We ended up getting married and having 4 children. Josh now works as a football coach at the local high school near our house and I work for the FBI. Even though sometimes I stress and worry about what if they end up finding the body, I just try to focus on now with my family and work and if they do find her body later on then I will deal with it then.
Even though that night changed everything for us, I don’t think I would have wanted it any other way because it gave me the life that I have today.
The End.

Answer:

I think it's an AMAZING story. You just need to fix some grammatical problems in the 2nd paragraph. Also, it would be great if you made a part two or something. (I want to know the backstory on what happened to Sasha.) Thank you for making an interesting story and for not using a overused ending. Good Luck with editing!

Answer:

okay, its a good storyline. I did notice that in the beginning when you start talking about the twins you said "they WERE the most down to earth people I KNOW." So, thats two different tenses I would just switch the Know to knew. since you seem to be telling the story from the future perspective. But other than that I really enjoyed reading it, and thought it was pretty good.

Explanation:

how are prices determined in a market

Answers

Answer:

Demand and supply

Explanation:

In a market, the demand for a product and the supply of the products affect the price of them.

If a product has limited supply, the price will rise because it is rarer.

If a product has a lot of supply, the price will decrease because it is common.

If product demand is high, prices will rise because sellers want to earn more money.

If product demand is low, prices will sink because sellers need to make some sort of revenue and if the product doesn't sell, they've lost money. If they sell it at a lower price, at least they make some money back.

Of course, there are more factors but demand and supply are the main two, especially in a free market economy.

why did hera have the other gods tie up zeus up

Answers

Answer:

According to Greek mythology, Hera persuaded the other gods to revolt against Zeus; he was being particularly overbearing and he also slept with several other women, mortal and immortal alike.

First, Hera drugged Zeus.

Then, the other gods bound Zeus to a couch (or whatever couches were in ancient Greece) while he was sleeping. There were countless knots tied. They began to quarrel over what the next step in the revolt should be. Briareus, a Hecatoncheires who was Zeus's bodyguard overheard these arguments and swiftly came in to untie the many knots. Zeus awoke and threatened the other gods with his thunderbolt. He also hung Hera in the sky with golden chains, and she wept all night but no one dared interfere. He released her if she vowed to never rebel again. She agreed, but she still outwitted him on many occasions.

Then, answer the question. Voluntourism: An Opportunity Too Good to be True A Speech to the Student Body of Evergreen High [1] Picture this: It's Spring Break, and you fly off to some country where there's lush rainforests and beautiful, blue coastlines to explore. There's also people in need, so you decide to blend your vacation with volunteering. Volunteering as a tourist, or voluntourism, seems like a great way to explore new regions and help people at the same time. However, this "volunteer plus travel" experience can actually harm local communities. While many teens might view traveling and volunteering abroad as a worthwhile adventure, there are more genuine and effective ways to make a difference. [2] Most would agree that volunteering in general is a worthy use of time. However, what if you found out the children you are "helping" are actually being kept in poor conditions so voluntourists will spend money to come to the local area? Dale Rolfe, a supporter of ethical voluntourism, explains the shocking reality that "Animal sanctuaries and orphanages are often manufactured for the voluntourist...encouraging a cycle of exploiting the very animals and children the volunteers are trying to help." [3] Proponents of the "volunteer plus travel" experience also argue that traveling to new places builds character and is a valuable way to learn about different cultures. With voluntourism, however, participants often pursue experiences that are all about them. For example, they sign up to build a school for a gold star on their resume, but they have no real building skills and take jobs away from local construction workers (Schulten). Or, they arrive to teach English but instead take selfies with the locals. One world traveler and ethical voluntourist believes voluntourism "can perpetuate small minded views of the world by taking insulated, fake, and structured experiences and selling them as unabridged and eye opening" (Carlos). The voluntour experience is a mirage. The voluntourist's eyes are not opened to real life at the destination, and lasting change is not achieved. [4] If you want a genuine experience where you can see a lasting impact, there are better options than voluntourism. You can volunteer in your local community. Give an hour every week to your town's animal rescue. Serve monthly dinners to the homeless. Be a reliable, positive influence on a child who needs a mentor. Studies show that volunteering and forming lasting relationships with those you help has a positive impact on your physical and emotional health. In fact, blood pressure is reduced, memory is improved, and rates of depression are reduced (Michaels). [5] There is another reason to look into alternatives to voluntourism. Did you know the average "voluntour" travel package costs $3,400 (Rolfe)? Could that travel money be better spent? If the world's citizens are your passion, it could go to an international organization. If you care about education, your funds can be used to buy books for students in faraway lands. If you want villagers to have clean water, contribute funds to local efforts to dig wells. If you want to experience a different culture, travel to the country as a guest, and learn from the locals how you can best help them after you've returned home. But do not voluntour. [6] In reality, there are better ways to make a difference. Voluntourism might appear to be an adventure that blends travel and helping others, but it does little except provide a costly, superficial experience that might actually do more harm than good. So, volunteer where you are most needed-at home, where you can stay to see the job through and form genuine, lasting relationships. Choose a beautiful coastline closer to home and send the travel money you saved to an international organization that will put it to good use. Whatever you do, don't turn someone else's hardship into your vacation.
