Date : 16/2/2021
Time : 9:00 P.M (Or ur wish)
Dear Diary,
Today was the best day when my grandpa bought me shiny pair of black shoes. It was morning when our family was having breakfast together. Mummy asked papa to go to the supermarket to buy somethings as she running out of those things, But papa apologized as he had a meeting today in the evening. Grandpa asked if he can help, Mummy murmured at the first but then agreed. Then I asked grandpa If I could accompany him. Grandpa gave a little laugh and said sure. I was in the market around 11 am. There was a shoe shop when I saw a beautiful shiny pair of black shoes. I was so hypnotized towards it that I couldn't take my eyes of it....I asked grandpa if he would really buy it for me. Grandpa firstly asked the shopkeeper the price, it was Rs. 60.. It was a little expensive he said but he AGREED! I was so happy for this that I hugged my grandpa and tried the shoes. It indeed fit my size and bought this pair of shoes enthusiastically to home. When I showed my family members they fascinated to see my shiny shoes and asked me to wear them whenever I go out. I kept my lovely black shoes in my cupboard so that no one could touch them. It was really a great day, now its time to go bed....

In the late 1800s, long-distance communication was difficult. Though there was a postal service, it was slow and unreliable. Letters could take many weeks or even months to travel cross country. Quickly reaching a faraway loved one in an emergency was only possible via the electric telegraph, which was not available to everyone. In contrast, today Americans communicate freely, inexpensively, and frequently over all distances with cell phones and computers. Friends and family, no matter how distant, are only a push of a button away.

Read this excerpt from "Why Are They Called Black Holes?"
Within a circular boundary of about fifty miles from the black hole center, gravity is so strong that massless light cannot escape its pull. This boundary is called the "theoretical event horizon." Imagine observing a black hole from galaxies away. Light can be seen around the event horizon but not within it. The universe is filled with dim light drifting all around, but absolutely no light can be seen inside a circular event horizon. Therefore, the area inside is called a "black hole."
Based on this excerpt, which conclusion is most likely true about black holes?
Even though there is light inside a black hole, it is not visible.
Even though a black hole has gravity, there is nothing inside a black hole.
A black hole can only be observed or detected at a short distance.
A black hole only releases light that appears black to the eyes.

The first postage stamp, the "Penny Black," was printed and used in England in 1840. The stamp was called the "Penny Black" because it was printed in black ink and was sold for a penny. Mail was sent and received long before the first stamp, but it was the receiver who had to pay for the mail, not the sender. Since some people were unable to pay to receive their mail, the idea of the postage stamp was born.
In 1845, five years after England's "Penny Black," the first stamp was printed in the United States of America. Two years later, on July 1, 1847 the first official U.S. postage stamps were issued featuring the portraits of our first postmaster and our first President. The five cent value paid for postal service up to a distance of 300 miles. The stamp, printed in blue, has a catalog value of hundreds of dollars today. A used or canceled copy of this stamp is worth at least half as much as an unused stamp. This stamp was issued imperforate (unperforated) and had to be cut apart with scissors. The adoption of adhesive stamps opened up the development of today's extensive postal system.
Since 1845, the United States has printed more than 3,000 different kinds of stamps. Gradually, all of the world's countries began to issue stamps.
Several kinds of postage stamps are printed. Some of the most interesting are the commemoratives. A commemorative stamp honors anniversaries, important people, or special events. It is usually on sale at the post office only for a short time.
A more common stamp is called a regular issue. Regular issue stamps are printed in greater numbers, and can be obtained for a longer period of time. They are sold in stamp machines as well as in the post office.
Other less common stamps are airmail stamps, special delivery stamps, and envelope stamps. If you have ever seen a postage stamp album of the United States, you will know that it has spaces to put all of these stamps.

Sonic Boom
I'm sitting in the living room
When, up above, the Thump of Doom
Resounds. Relax. It's sonic boom.
The ceiling shudders at the clap,
The mirrors tilt, the rafters snap,
And Baby wakens from his nap.

Giving the speed of sound the slip,
Has cracked the air like a penny whip."

I shan't look up to see it drop.

Can we say that older tools have lesser function and newer tools have more
function? Why
Answer:
The older tools have been used more, and they are more worn out. For example, is it easier for a 20 year old to run a marathon or a 80 year old? The 80 year old is older, therefore it is harder to function.

He glanced back at the wall. How like a mirror, too, her face. Impossible; for how many people did you know that refracted your own light to you? People were more often-he searched for a simile, found one in his work-torches, blazing away until they whiffed out. How rarely did other people's faces take of you and throw back to you your own expression, your own innermost trembling thought? (Bradbury 8).
What two things are being compared in this example? How do you know?
Answer: Her face and a mirror.
Explanation:
In the passage, the speaker makes direct reference to (her) face being like a mirror, reflecting how he felt and showing his own expressions and thoughts.
