Do you agree or disagree with the author's opinion that video games lead to gambling problems later?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

I agree that in some cases that might be the case especi if the game is a gambling game however, I doubt that is the case with most main-line video games. Considering how most games aren’t about gambling and usually have discipline causing you to loose money. For example, in the Mario and Sonic games produced by NIntendo and Sega, if you run into an enemy, you will loose money. Similarly, in the Zelda games there are games you can play and win prizes for around 20 rupees, however these games are challenging and will sometimes scam you.

Explain the problem Kevin Love experienced and how he decided to deal with it. Do you think hearing Love's story will change people's attitudes about mental health issues? Explain why or why not. Include facts and details from the Article, as well as your own ideas, in your response.

Answers

Answer:

yes

Explanation:

"I’ve never been comfortable sharing much about myself. I turned 29 in September and for pretty much 29 years of my life I have been protective about anything and everything in my inner life. I was comfortable talking about basketball — but that came natural. It was much harder to share personal stuff, and looking back now I know I could have really benefited from having someone to talk to over the years. But I didn’t share — not to my family, not to my best friends, not in public. Today, I’ve realized I need to change that. I want to share some of my thoughts about my panic attack and what’s happened since. If you’re suffering silently like I was, then you know how it can feel like nobody really gets it. Partly, I want to do it for me, but mostly, I want to do it because people don’t talk about mental health enough. And men and boys are probably the farthest behind.

I know it from experience. Growing up, you figure out really quickly how a boy is supposed to act. You learn what it takes to “be a man.” It’s like a playbook: Be strong. Don’t talk about your feelings. Get through it on your own. So for 29 years of my life, I followed that playbook. And look, I’m probably not telling you anything new here. These values about men and toughness are so ordinary that they’re everywhere … and invisible at the same time, surrounding us like air or water. They’re a lot like depression or anxiety in that way.

So for 29 years, I thought about mental health as someone else’s problem. Sure, I knew on some level that some people benefited from asking for help or opening up. I just never thought it was for me. To me, it was form of weakness that could derail my success in sports or make me seem weird or different." -Kevin Love

We know best how to celebrate we have each other. Mi grandmother spent all morning just cooking for us and every single plate is like food for Gods. Mi uncle tells jokes all the time and my cousins show us pictures of the country they live at that moment. The time pass with hurry when all of us meet up because we are enjoying those beautiful moment we have together.  At the end, we all know that some of us have to go the next day to its current country in where they work and it is a little sad just yo know that it might pass a long time since we can get together the next time, but it is fine because when it happen is like an eclipse. It worth the time to wait.

Create your own animated character, and draft a series of simplistic frames that show some sort of action (for example, a figure walking, a face

Describe your work and how you created the flipbook.

Answer: I picked a simple butterfly to animate using a flipbook. A flipbook allows you to animate a drawing. I started by cutting out about thirty small rectangles of paper. I then drew the first image of the buttery with its wings up as shown in the image on the first paper. I numbered this 1. I then traced the image of the butterfly on another piece of paper and moved the wings a bit down, as in image two. I numbered the paper 2 and set it aside. I repeated this on the remaining pieces of paper, moving the wings a little more with each piece. I then stacked the pieces of paper together to form a book from numbers 1 to 30. I stapled the left edge of the papers and flicked through the right side to reveal the animation I had created.

Answers

Answer:

1. There is a life jacket under every seat of an aeroplane.

Explanation:

The article 'a' is to be written before the noun, life jacket. We have two articles in the English Language, namely 'The', and 'a/an'. A/An are indefinite articles because they describe a noun that is not specified or known. 'The' is a definite article because it describes a known noun.

Articles act as adjectives in a sentence because they describe or modify nouns.

(Bearing the above information in mind, you can now fix in the right articles in the other sentences. I could not find the remaining sentences here, or in the internet).

.........water is essential to life (an ,the , a,)

Answers

Answer:

Leave empty

Explanation:

Water is uncountable, so definitely not "a" or "an".

We're left with either leaving it empty or "the". But "the" suggests that it's not just any water, but some type/body of water in particular, which is not the case.

Water is essential to life.

Answer:

To stay alive, the organism takes in important materials for making energy, while shuttling out toxic substances such as waste products. In this regard, water is essential simply because it's a liquid at Earth-like temperatures.
