ARVB has been reflected as shown in the diagram. What is the length of 7B
?
AN
R
A. 6
B. 15
C. 5
D. 4
The calculated length of V'B' in the reflection of triangles is (c) 5
How to determine the length of V'B'From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:
The triangle and the image
Also, we know that the triangles are reflected
The reflection transformation is a rigid transformation
This means that
V'B' = VB
From the figures, we have
VB = 5
So, we have
V'B' = 5
Hence, the length of V'B' is (c) 5

What’s the volume of the prism ?
Answer:
63[tex]cm^{3}[/tex]
Step-by-step explanation:
To find the volume of this prism, all you need to do is multiply the height, the width, and the length of the prism. The height is 3, the length is 7, and the width is 3. So 3·3·7=9·7=63. Now we have to add the label, which is cm. We are multiplying 3cm by 3cm by 7cm, which makes it [tex]cm^{3}[/tex]. Now you just multiply [tex]cm^{3}[/tex] and 63 together, which gets you 63[tex]cm^{3}[/tex].
How to solve this geometry?
Step by step solution please.
This is a relatively complex problem and it took me a good 20 minutes to solve, I included a sketch I made myself while im solving this problem hope it helps with the explanation. (the dotted lines are my drawings, also I labeled the points just look at my graph)
Now to find <x, we can use the exterior angles theorem a couple of times.
<x=<p+<AGE
<x=30 degrees + <AGE
Now use the theorem again to find <AGE
<AGE=<q+<BIG
Now use substitution for <q and for <AGE
<x=30 degrees+60 degrees+ <BIG
We put this to the side for now and try solve for <CHD which is not very difficult
<CHD=180-45-20=115
We can also clearly figure out <HFI using vertical angles theorem.
<HFI=<Y
Because they all form a triangle we can conclude that <y+<BIG=180 degrees-<FHI= 180-115=65 degrees
substitution again
<x+<y=30+60+<BIG+<HFI (remember <HFI = <y vertical angles theorem)
<x+<y=30+60+65 (remember how we did before these 2 angles adds up to 65?)
<x+<y=155 degrees
Now please don't hate me on this, I'm sure there is more efficient ways to explain this problem, this is just my way from trial and error.
Tip for next time you are stuck on a geometry problem, don't be afraid to draw the graph again on paper and add lines to it!
You won't get everything perfect the first time you try but the more you practice the more comfortable you are with these problems, Hope my explanation helped!

Step-by-step explanation:
∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180 {Angle sum property of triangle}
∠A + 65 + 55 = 180
∠A + 120 = 180
∠A = 180 - 120
∠A = 60
If two triangles are similar, then the corresponding angles of two triangles are congruent.
z = ∠A
z = 60
In ∆ ABC,
[tex]\angle[/tex] A + [tex]\angle[/tex] B + [tex]\angle[/tex] C = 180° .... (Angle sum property of a triangle)
Here, we have:
[tex]\angle[/tex] B = 65°[tex]\angle[/tex] C = 55°Substituting values,

Find the coordinates
Given:
The two points are P(14,16) and Q(21,19).
M is the midpoint of the segment PQ.
To find:
The distance between P and Q, and find the coordinates of point M.
Solution:
Distance between P(14,16) and Q(21,19) is
[tex]d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}[/tex]
[tex]d(P,Q)=\sqrt{(21-14)^2+(19-16)^2}[/tex]
[tex]d(P,Q)=\sqrt{(7)^2+(3)^2}[/tex]
[tex]d(P,Q)=\sqrt{49+9}[/tex]
On further simplification, we get
[tex]d(P,Q)=\sqrt{58}[/tex]
[tex]d(P,Q)=\sqrt{58}[/tex]
The midpoint of P and Q is M. So, the coordinates of the midpoint are:
[tex]M=\left(\dfrac{x_1+x_2}{2},\dfrac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)[/tex]
[tex]M=\left(\dfrac{14+21}{2},\dfrac{16+19}{2}\right)[/tex]
[tex]M=\left(\dfrac{35}{2},\dfrac{35}{2}\right)[/tex]
[tex]M=\left(17.5,17.5\right)[/tex]
Therefore, the distance between P and Q is [tex]\sqrt{58}[/tex] and the midpoint of P and Q is [tex]M=\left(17.5,17.5\right)[/tex].
