Do you think people face internal conflict or external conflict more often in their daily lives. Write an argumentative essay for which you think we face more in our daily lives,

Answers

Answer:

In fiction, ‘internal conflict’ refers to a character’s internal struggle. A character might struggle with an emotional problem such as fear of intimacy or abandonment, for example. Internal conflict is important for characterization, since flaws and internal struggles make characters more lifelike and sympathetic.

External conflict, on the other hand, refers to the conflicts between a character and external forces. This type of conflict can be between one character and another or a group (or between groups of characters). It can also be between a character and more abstract forces. For example, a bleak and hostile environment in a post-apocalyptic novel.

Both types of conflict, internal and external, are useful because they create:

Tension: Because of conflict’s uncertainty, we want to know how it resolves and keep turning pages to find out

Stakes: Conflict suggests worst-case outcomes and makes resolution urgent (the hero must overcome the antagonist/environment or themselves ‘or else…’)

Character development: Conflict allows for dramatic incidents and confrontations that test characters and cause them to learn and adapt

So how do you use external and internal conflict to develop characters

The eight intelligences are:

Word smart.

Number/Logic smart

Picture smart

Body smart

Music Smart

People smart

Self smart

Nature smart

PLEASE NOTE: we ALL have ALL of these intelligences to some extent. Even if we don’t like reading or writing, we know how to talk and use words; if we don’t like Math, we know that 2 + 2= 4, and that 60 minutes is longer than 10 minutes; if we are not great artists, we all can doodle.

Here are a few more things about each of the intelligences:

Word smart: Books are important, word games (Scrabble, Words with friends, Anagrams) are fun, tongue twisters, nonsense rhymes, puns are fun, you have a good vocabulary, you have written some thing (s) that you are proud of. Language Arts and Social Studies are easier than math or science, learning another language is relatively easy.

Number/Logic smart: you can compute numbers in your head, you enjoy brain teasers or games that require logical thinking, your mind searches for patterns, regularities, or logical thinking, Math and/or Science are easier than Language Arts or Social Studies. You enjoy new developments in technology and science, you pay close attention to graphs, statistics, and charts. I like when things are measures/analyzed/categorized/ quantified.

Picture Smart: You can see clear visual images when you close your eyes; you have strong opinions concerning colors; you like taking photos or video; you enjoy jigsaw puzzles, mazes, or other visual puzzles; you have vivid dreams at night; you like to draw or doodle; you prefer reading material with a lot of pictures or illustrations; you can imagine how something would look from a bird’s eye view.

Body Smart: you engage in at least one sport or physical activity on a regular basis, you enjoy playing sports, you are well coordinated, you find it hard to sit still for long periods of time, you enjoy hands-on activities like sewing, carpentry, model building, LEGOS; you like physical activities, you have a strong sense of touch and feel, you get your best ideas when walking, jogging, or doing something physical. You need to practice a new skill rather than just read about it or watch a video about it. YOu use hand gestures or body language when conversing with others.

Music Smart: you enjoy singing, you can tell when a note is off key, you listen to music in your spare time, you play at least one musical instrument, you have tunes running through your mind, you can easily keep time to a piece of music with the drum, you have a good sense of rhythm, you know a lot of songs.

People Smart: people come to you for advice, you prefer group sports to solo sports, you have at least three close friends, you go to other people for advice rather than work it out yourself, you enjoy social games like monopoly or cards over individual games, you enjoy teaching others how to do something, you are considered a leader - or think of yourself as one, you are comfortable in the middle of a crowd.

Self Smart: you regularly spend time alone meditating, reflecting, or thinking. You are resilient in the face of setbacks, you think about your goals and how to reach them regularly, you have a realistic view of your strengths and weaknesses, you consider yourself strong willed or independent minded, you keep a diary, you are more comfortable by yourself than in the middle of a crowd, you have a special hobby or interest that few people know about.

Nature Smart: you like backpacking, hiking, or walking in nature; you love having animals around the house, you are worried about the environment, you enjoy books, magazines, or television shows about nature, you like zoos or aquariums, you enjoy gardening. You are good at telling the difference between types of trees, dogs, birds and / or other plants and animals.

Answer:

The correct answer is A)

Explanation:

In a study that tried to elicit the correlation between Violence in Video Games and Violence in real behavior, Joseph Hilgard and 4 of his colleagues carried out an experiment involving 275 males (all undergraduates) using a specific type of gaming whose violence levels could be adjusted from hard to easy or very violent to mildly violent.

Students were randomly assigned to play the game. No one person played both categories.

After the game, the students were incited by confederates and were allowed in such as way that they were allowed to express themselves violently or otherwise.

Joseph and his team came to the realization that their research didn't extablish a relationship between playing a violent game and being violent in real life.

One of the limitations of the research that were cited as a possible reason for enervated the researchers from reaching a very boisterous conclusion is that brief exposure under a controlled environment may not be sufficient to trigger violent behavior in the test subjects.

"Write a research-based argumentative essay for or against health care for everyone."

Answers

Answer:

research it yourself

Explanation:

health care for everyone has never worked. for one it would cost millions of tax dollars and even though it would have some benefits most of the tax dollars that they say they need to use for health care will be wasted. you may say but everyone will have health care and be taken care of. Well, who would decide who gets the health care is only citizens and legal immigrants, or do illegal immigrants get the benefits even though do not pay taxes for it.

Would it be nice if everyone had health care yes but who pays for it? some people can not afford to pay taxes as it is sometimes it is. the other side might say well that's not their fault so the richer people can just pay more taxes to help the poorer people out. Well, not all poor people are poor. After all, they have no way to make money many people are poor because they are into drugs or they just like the government giving them ( keep in mind some poor people do have problems and need financial aid). So when doing the taxes that pay for everyone's health care how do we decide who needs help financially to make the taxes and who is just lazy.

h Now back to an earlier statement why don't the rich people just pay more taxes to help out the poor people? Well first off people do not like taxes and charging them more because they are rich is wrong. what some people do not realize is that rich people worked hard to be rich you do not get rich by just sitting on the couch all day. Plus it would be a lot more beneficial if instead of just making the rich pay more taxes you could ask them if they are willing to give any jobs to the poor people. Now others might say well but then how do you get enough jobs for poor people. well usually us has about 4 percent of them that do not have jobs and there are millions of jobs all over us and you do not need a college degree for a lot of them.

Another reason that the national health care plan would be bad is that as of right now because of coronavirus 47 percent of America is unemployed so how will that 47 percent pay taxes? others might say they could up the taxes on the other 53 percent but just because they have a job does not mean they are financially stable. A better way to do this would get a website going where people can donate to the poor to help with taxes studies to show that people are more willing to donate things than to be forced to give things.

so in conclusion, if you get a national health care plan then it will raise taxes on everyone especially the rich and not everyone can afford more taxes. More taxes in America means more controversy in the world. SO health care is good but there is a better way than for the government to give everyone a health care plan.
