How do stereotypes affect women?

Answers

Answer 1

Explanation:

One example is women at work. When you hear the word "nurse" what first comes into your head? I would imagine, like many, a woman, which was culturally influenced by males. Now, when you hear doctor, you may think of a male dressed in white, with the nurse by his side. Very few think of the typical/ideal doctor as female, but that is changing.

Next, let's talk about home. When at home, in the 1900's and even today, women are made to stay at home, cook, clean, and of course, take care of children, while the males typically do the "fun stuff". In many old movies, women will call their husband/spouse, take off his jacket, and have a beautiful meal set out, while the male sits down, eats, and takes off to play with the children.

Finally, dressing. Wearing pants was considered "ghastly" or disrespectful. Even the first steps to transition into that took quite a long time, with disapproval from many. Corsets, pants, and short hair are some other examples.

But this is my opinion.

Hope this helps!

If you want to continue living on me, you must become more conscious and actively work to lessen your ecological footprint. Recycle more. Compost what you can. Bike or walk to work and school. And most importantly, hold those corrupt and money-hungry organizations accountable. 100 companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions, which is directly detrimental to my health. This process continues to be repeated until an English version can be translated into French by a different translator, into the same English. This process is known as decentering.
A. True
B. False

Answers

Answer:

A. True

Explanation:

When the translation between English and French is repeated several times to the point that a different translator can redo the translation, maintaining the meaning and content of the original document, it means that the decentring process has taken place. This can be seen in the question above when an English version of Sophia's document was translated, one last time, into French by a different translator, into the same English. This means that even after undergoing successive translations, Sophia's document retained its original meaning and content, that is, the document went through the decentering process.
