How did economic change influence gender roles?
In your opinion, what was the most significant change to gender roles in the early 19th century?
Must be 4 to 6 sentences! I give Brainliest! Please help
Answer: 1. This ideal, of course, ignored the reality of women's work at home and was possible for only the wealthy. The market revolution therefore not only transformed the economy, it changed the nature of the American family. As the market revolution thrust workers into new systems of production, it redefined gender roles.Women and men were not equal in the 19th century. Women were seen as 'the weaker sex'. This particularly affected middle class women because they had no reason to leave the home or go to work. The middle classes took the role of women very seriously because they did not have to worry about things like poverty. In the early 19th century the roles of women in American society were predominately as cook, wife, mother, and general homemaker in a mainly rural setting. ... As a result, women gained entry into the workforce and from that grew to establish gender equality within the United States permanently. As the 19th century progressed men increasingly commuted to their place of work—the factory, shop or office. Wives, daughters and sisters were left at home all day to oversee the domestic duties that were increasingly carried out by servants.

How does the political cartoon below demonstrate Appeasement?
Answer:
They give him what they want
Explanation:
now he shuts up and does not cause trouboe for them.
Answer: This cartoon perfectly demonstrates appeasement. It does this by illustrating the allies as a mother trying to deal with a child who cries when he does not receive what he asks for. In this cartoon The allies (specifically Chamberlain, who led Britain as a prime minister at the time.) Gave into Hitler's demands for more territory in hopes to avoid war. (which is Chamberlain trying to avoid the baby crying. Chamberlain saying that maybe he wont cry now alludes the fact that the strategy was completely ineffective, due to the fact he would just take more and more and more until the allies put there foot down. This happened in real life when the Germans invaded Belgium to get to France. which led to Britain and it's allies declaring war.

Seneca Falls: Common Ground
By Andrea Brecheen
The Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 was the single-most important event of the early women's suffrage movement. The suffrage movement grew out of centuries of shameful and unfair treatment of women. At the time of the Convention, women did not have the right to vote or serve on juries, and many women were unable to inherit property. In the decades leading up to the Convention, a small group of women began to rebel against these injustices. Suffrage originated from women's participation in the anti-slavery and temperance movements.
The Seneca Falls Convention was the first conference dedicated to women's rights. The Convention was organized by two female abolitionists, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott. Lucretia Mott was an eloquent Quaker social reformer. Mott had previously been denied the right to speak at an anti-slavery conference in London after the men voted to exclude women from participating. Unlike many women of her time, Elizabeth Cady Stanton received a formal education. At the age of 16, Stanton studied mathematics, Latin, and Greek, demonstrating her keen abilities by mastering the subjects alongside boys of her own age.
Coming together to support the suffrage movement, Mott and Stanton organized the Convention in Seneca Falls, NY in July of 1848. During the six-day meeting, Stanton presented the Declaration of Sentiments, a document she based on the Declaration of Independence. In the Declaration, she so elegantly wrote, "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal." The Declaration included a list of grievances detailing the treatment of women. The Declaration was signed by sixty-eight women and thirty-two men.
Following the Convention, in 1848 the New York State Assembly passed the Married Women's Act. This act protected property that women brought into or earned during marriage.
