How does Bogan draw on and transform Ovid’s work? What is the impact of this transformation?
Answer:
Bogan draw on and transform Ovid’s work and the impact of his transformation is discussed below in detail.
Explanation:
Ovid’s experience inspired his way of conversion in Metamorphoses. His work reveals the reality that he experienced in a polytheistic society that praised many gods, and he accused the development of the cosmos to these deities. On the other cards, Kafka’s fiction is concentrated primarily on the conversion of the person. God does not part in the comparison for Gregor in any manner.

Discuss the various denotations and connotations of the title "Cross." How does understanding both denotation and connotation impact your understanding of the poem?
Answer:
how this intersection has made the speaker confused and caught in between.
Explanation:
As we know denotation essentially refers to the act of referring a word with its literal meaning, the word "Cross" could be understood as a geometrical shape where two perpendicular lines intersect one another.
On the other hand, since connotation is the process of deriving another meaning from a word apart from its original meaning, the word "Cross" could be understood as when two things that does not match or is not parallel to each other come together.
Understanding both denotation and connotation of the title "Cross" helps one to understand how the poem talks about the intersection of two different things(white father and black mother) and how this intersection has made the speaker confused and caught in between a white father and black mother.
The word "Cross" can be interpreted as a geometric shape where two perpendicular lines connect, as we know denotation mainly refers to the act of referring a word with its literal meaning.
Thus, The word "Cross" could also be interpreted as the coming together of two objects that do not match or are not parallel to one another because connotation is the process of drawing another meaning from a word in addition to its original meaning.
The poem "Cross" discusses the junction of two different things (a white father and a black mother), and how this intersection has left the speaker perplexed and caught between a white father and a black mother.
Understanding both the denotation and the connotation of the title "Cross" aids in understanding this intersection.
Thus, The word "Cross" can be interpreted as a geometric shape where two perpendicular lines connect, as we know denotation mainly refers to the act of referring a word with its literal meaning.

Should all individuals pay the same tax rate why or why not
Answer:
No.
Explanation:
All individuals should not pay the same tax rate because income is a factor. If an individual is making 15$ per hour compared to someone making 50$ an hour, the individuals that make more should pay more because they can afford it better. Ex: Kate is making 15$ an hour and works a 10 hour shift, 4 days a week, in total without tax she makes 600 per week. That's not a whole lot, and lets just say everybody has to pay 90$ of tax. 90 dollars would be taken out of her paycheck, and lets see, she has to pay 100 dollars for groceries, 100 dollars for rent, and 100 dollars goes towards retirement she would only have 210 dollars for bills and all her other financial needs. But lets say Maya is making 50 dollars an hour and is working a 10 hour shift 4 times a week, she is making 2000$ a week, she has the same bills as Kate, she has 1,710$ left over for bills and other financial needs, she is able to get by, Kate is just barely getting by. Kate should pay less and Maya should pay more.

Analyze the Hopi story "How the Spaniards Came to Shung-opovi, How They Built a Mission, and How the Hopi Destroyed the Mission," and determine its audience and purpose. Cite direct evidence from the text to support your analysis.
Explanation:
Interestingly, the text was primarily designed for the Hopi people in mind because it narrates the cultural differences between the Spaniards and native American Indians during the colonial period. Also, it uses certain expressions best understood by a Hopi native. For example, referring to the Spaniards, the text says,
"He did not like the Kachinas and he destroyed the altars and the customs. He called it idol worship and burned up all the ceremonial things in the plaza."
Such statement above is meant to sympathize with a typical Hopi native who viewed the Spaniards as trying to eradicate their culture and religion.
Answer:
The storyteller uses words such as First Mesa Bahana, Kachinas, and pahos to narrate “How the Spaniards Came to Shung-opovi, How They Built a Mission, and How the Hopi Destroyed the Mission.” Only the Hopi would understand these terms, so the reader can conclude that the story is intended for other Hopi people.
The purpose of the Hopi story is to tell the audience about cultural conflicts between Europeans and American Indians during the colonial period. Perhaps the story is meant to warn or inform other Hopi people about their relations with the foreign colonists. The following excerpt from the story tells how the Europeans mistreated the Hopi:
If any man gave out on the way he was simply left to die. There was great suffering. Some died for lack of food and water, while others developed scabs and sores on their bodies.
It took a good many years for them to get enough beams to Shung-opovi to build the mission. When this mission was finally built, all the people in the village had to come there to worship, and those that did not come were punished severely.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement? "Anything is possible"

Another one of my favorite places I have ever visited Is Niagara Falls we went to the both sides of falls American and Canadian side we loved the Canadian Side more because it was much cleaner and they took more care into their side in my opinion. We went on a boat ride on the falls it was beautiful they told us all kinds of facts and history about the Falls which was really interesting.
Another place I have loved visiting was Los Angeles during a delivery trip with my dads commercial truck which we saw lots of cool stuff during our way down to Los Angeles we saw new cool stuff out in the west new foods , new culture we tried out this weird food I have never tried fried squirrel which was amazing food I wish they served in New York it kinda tasted like fried chicken. While we were out on this trip we saw one of tournaments for my favorite video game which was awesome to watch. My favorite team won during the tournament. After the tourney we delivered our load to the destination and while we were coming back we got more of our favorite food fried squirrel. We loved go out to Los Angeles its our favorite place to deliver a load to because you find so much stuff out to west and instead of the south which is much interesting to look for.
