Answer:
The poem follows an AABBACA pattern, which gives the poem a flow and feeling of connection. The words are very rooted together, which is ironic given the poem is about deforestation. The line lengths are short and to the point, such as the quick working machine.
It seems to be a metaphor for the machines used for deforestation for construction purposes. The choice of words such as mean, voracious, and chews make it clear that the poets outlook on the use of these machines is negative. The question is leaves you at the end, "is it progress or is it obscene?" Refers to the fact that all progress comes at a price. Is it really worth it? Or do the long-term negative effects outweigh such production?

Answer:Point of view (POV) is what the character or narrator telling the story can see (his or her perspective). The author chooses “who” is to tell the story by determining the point of view. Depending on who the narrator is, he/she will be standing at one point and seeing the action. This viewpoint will give the narrator a partial or whole view of events as they happen. Many stories have the protagonist telling the story, while in others, the narrator may be another character or an outside viewer, a narrator who is not in the story at all. The narrator should not be confused with the author, who is the writer of the story and whose opinions may not be those written into the narrative.

What is a metaphor?A metaphor is a figure of speech that, for rhetorical effect, refers to one thing while discussing another. It could make things clearer or show where two disparate ideas are similar in unexpected ways.
The words "like" and "as" are not used in a metaphor. It's explained using a metaphor. Therefore, remove any comparison words, such as "like" or "as," from the sentence.
When anything is described by comparing it to another thing, the metaphorical figure of speech is used. One should not take it literally. A metaphor is a figure of speech that, for the sake of rhetorical effect, directly alludes to one thing while discussing another.

Which sentence shows how Estelle's grandfather's life greatly affected his family's future?
Great Expectations
"Estelle, please read the next two paragraphs," Ms. Tate said. "Estelle. Estelle!"
Estelle cleared her throat and spoke up, "I'm sorry, Ms. Tate. Where are we?"
"Page 17. Third paragraph," Ms. Tate responded with a frown on her face. Estelle began reading. She tried to make her voice seem light and interested. However, she was having a hard time concentrating on a story about a beaver and an antelope.
Over the weekend, Estelle's family had celebrated her brother's enlistment in the United States Navy. He would be the third generation to serve in the Navy. Her grandfather had been the first. When he was a young man in El Salvador, he had fallen in love with Estelle's grandmother. He didn't have much money. He wanted to provide a good home for his future wife, so he wanted to go to the United States. He had heard that there would be better opportunities there. He left El Salvador and joined the United States Navy. During his service in the military, he became a U.S. citizen. After five years of serving in the Navy, Estelle's grandfather moved to Long Beach, California. Estelle's grandmother joined him in Long Beach, and they were married there. Her grandfather took a job as a night-shift security officer so that he could go to school during the day. He earned a bachelor's degree in social science. Her grandfather then began his career working for a nonprofit group that helped low-income families.
Estelle's grandfather spoke of his service in the Navy often. He talked about it to the children and teenagers he met through his job. He talked about it at home. It was her grandfather's stories about his time in the Navy that prompted her father to join the Navy. Now, Estelle's brother was about to begin an adventure of his own. What stories will he have to tell?
Brrring. Brrring. Brrring. The school bell chimed. Estelle closed her textbook and began to pack her backpack. Maybe one day she could join the Navy, too. Her grandfather would like that.
Her brother enlisted in the navy because he wanted to keep the family tradition alive.

What is the difference between Melba and President Eisenhower’s tone when writing about the integration of Central High?
What does it reveal about each person?
and If you can plzz show evidence
And dont use my points or i'll report you ...
Answer:
Here's a paragraph on the differentiation of their tones and experiences when it comes to the integration!
Eisenhower heavily did not like the fact that there was racial segregation in public schools and other public places, additionally he did not like the racial discrimination and wanted equal rights for blacks as well as whites. Eisenhower was very clear and strict on his belief of these topics, indicating he must have felt very strongly about the situation, the integration would be the start for clearing up american racism. Melba's POV is similar but different as one of the Little Rock Nine, growing up in a racially segregated environment she too feels strongly about the situation and highlights overcoming her struggles from going to a school where she knew she didn't fit in. The two are mainly different because while Melba was growing up with racism surrounding her and her family, Eisenhower had the privilege of being born a white man but continues to speak out on the segregational issues in their lifetime, even if it does not directly affect him.
