You recently went on a school trip. Your teacher has asked you to write a report about the trip and make suggestions for next year
Answer:
Trip to Sunderban
The Educational trip to Sundarban on 14th April has been successfully completed. There were a total of hundred students accompanied by three teachers. A State Transport Bus was hired to take us to a place called Dhaniakhali and back. At Dhaniakhali we boarded a ferry that showed us around the creeks and mangrove forests of the great ecological site.
The learning experience from the trip was not much, though there was a lot of fun and entertainment. The selection of the time of the trip was ill suited.
Most of the wild animals were deep inside the jungles and could not be sited.
It being the time of the Bengali New Year, there was a lot of crowd and this frightened even the crocodiles away. Usually one gets to sight the crocodiles most easily. Thus I don't think we really learned very much.
We met a lot of local people and interacted with them. We asked them about the animals and their habitat. The people we met were really helpful.
We had to do a lot of running around at Dhaniakhali. None of us were aware of the place. Booking a ferry, negotiating the charges, arranging lunch was really hectic. I wish we hadn't had to do so many things.
On the whole the trip was good value! We love the experience. Since I had just finished reading Amitabh Ghosh's The Hungry Tide' the previous week, I found the trip even more interesting.
I hope we learn from our experiences and in the next trip we implement the things we have learned.

O A. If you have several sentences of material from the same source, cite it at the end of every sentence.
OB. If you have several sentences of material from the same source, cite it once after the chunk of information.
O C. Never use more than one in-text or parenthetical citation per paragraph.
D. When in doubt, cite less often rather than more often.
The best statement that explains how often to use parenthetical or in-text citations in your writing is that If you have several sentences of material from the same source, cite it once after the chunk of information.
For better understanding, we have to explain what parenthetical or in-text citations is all about.
An in-text citation is often used when an individual wants to use another authors quotes or his article in another article. it always come only when parenthetical citation has been made due to the fact that the source which has its quote copied is quoted needs to be shown. The best way is to cite them all at once because they are from the same author/source and there is no need for vein repetition. We can conclusively say that the best statement that explains how often to use parenthetical or in-text citations in your writing is that If you have several sentences of material from the same source, cite it once after the chunk of information.

Look more closely at the two versions of this story—the original text and the silent film—and compare them. Identify and analyze the differences in the revelations of any one of the ghosts that visited Scrooge after Marley.
Answer:
In the film, the Ghost of Christmas Future shows Scrooge his moment of death, in which the person watching over him is concerned only with stealing his ring. The vision ends with a quick shot of his gravestone. The film portrayal differs greatly from the story, which doesn’t include a scene of Scrooge’s death. Instead, when the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows Scrooge his future, Scrooge only hears people talking about the death of a rich man and finds thieves fighting over his belongings. No one in the story seems to care that the man is dead—in fact, some people celebrate. Finally, Scrooge realizes that he is the dead man. The differences in the two works might be due to the difficulty of a short silent film to show indirect references to an event. Even if the film were longer, the number of title cards needed would interrupt the flow of the action.
Explanation:
Answer:
So in the film, the Ghost Of Christmas shows Scrooge the exact moment Scrooge dies. Scrooge dies with someone standing over him fixated on trying to steal Scrooge's ring instead of worrying about him. Afterwards, Scrooge gets to see his name on a head-stone. In the book on the other hand, readers don't get to know how Scrooge died though people did mention his death, nobody cared. Theives would rob everything and some even celebrated. Dramatic irony occurs here because we know that the man everyone is talking about is Scrooge, but it doesn't know it yet. The Ghost finishes the last stop showing him his name on a head-stone.

2. Read the following sentences and identify the best choice to vary the sentence beginnings for interest.
Dustin fell out of bed. He hit his head on the night stand.
O A Dustin fell out of bed, and he hit his head on the night stand.
O B Dustin hit his head on the night stand. He fell out of his bed.
O C Falling out of bed, Dustin hit his head on the night stand.
O D There was a night stand in Dustin's room. He fell out of bed and hit his head on it.
Answer:
C
Explanation:
Okay, so I'm just going to go with a ruling-out method, I hope you don't mind-
It isn't A because all it does is add a comma and we're looking for interest
It isn't B, because in the first sentence (Dustin fell out of bed. He hit his head on the night stand), it goes in a sequence. He fell out of bed and then he hit his head on the night stand. But B isn't in sequence.
It's not D because, again, it shows no interest, plus you don't need it to be two sentences.
I hope this helps, I know I didn't explain it well, so sorry about that :)

Why would a speaker or speech writer want to use the rhetorical devices repetition and connotation to persuade an audience?
Answer: Repetition makes the line memorable and the speaker's words have rhythm and cadence. In English, an active sentence (e.g., “We developed the plan.”) is more effective than a passive sentence (e.g., “The plan was developed by us.”).

Answer:a. he is quick

Explanation:
Simile in the line 9-11 is he is quick. Two things that are being compared identify another simile in lines 11-15 are He can deliver messages quickly and effectively and Compare to a seagull diving for fish.
What is Simile?A simile is a rhetorical device in which two objects are clearly contrasted. Similes are different from metaphors in that they use comparison words to emphasize the similarities between two objects.
A Teenager's Prayer, a poem by J. Morse, is about teens and what happens to them during those formative years. The poem is a petition to God asking him to guide them in choosing the right path and enabling them to study without being tempted.
The poet muses on teenage life in the first stanza, highlighting how precarious this stage of life may be. He uses the first person to describe himself as a teenager, seeking to show the readers what it's like inside a teen's head. He claims that we must create fresh choices, and it is up to us to decide whether they will be simple or challenging.
Therefore, Simile in the line 9-11 is he is quick.
