It was supposed to be a day filled with joy and celebration, but instead, it turned out to be the worst birthday I've ever had. The day started off with me waking up late, which meant that I didn't have time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or open any presents before I had to rush off to work.

When I arrived at work, I was greeted with a mountain of paperwork that needed to be completed by the end of the day. I barely had time to eat my lunch, let alone take a break to celebrate my birthday. To make matters worse, my boss was in a foul mood and kept criticizing my work, which made me feel even more stressed and miserable.

As soon as I finished work, I rushed home, hoping to salvage what was left of my birthday. But when I got home, I found that my apartment had been broken into and all of my valuables were gone. It was a devastating blow, and I felt violated and unsafe in my own home. I spent the rest of the evening dealing with the police and trying to figure out what to do next.
