A hate crime is a crime or act of violence through words or physical interaction driven by some type of prejudice, weather it be race, sex, belifes, religion, and many more.

According to theconversation.com there are over 200,000 hate crimes a year, consisting of everything from assault to murder, and my personal opinion is this is gross and needs to be stopped in some way. I'm a strong believer in the fact that all humans are the same.
