Some of the characters in the play The Diary of Anne Frank bring things from their past into the Secret Annex that have special significance to them. Select one of the two options below and write about why the item is important to the character. Be sure to support your answer with at least two details from the play. Your response should be about 150 words.
The objects to pick from:
Mrs. Van Daan's fur coat
Anne's pictures of movie stars and Queen Wilhelmina
Answer:
The character Mrs. Van Daan brings her fur coat with her when she is staying in the annex. The fur coat has sentimental value to her, because it connects her to her past. It symbolizes the freedom she once had, as well as her ability to possess valuable things. Her connection to the coat is emotional and materialistic. Mrs. Van Daan is maintaining her sense of dignity by having the coat as a symbol of her status, despite being forced to live in the annex. It is a refusal to admit she is no longer wealthy, and no longer has control.

What inference can you make about what happened to Martha in her past? Find textual evidence to support your answer.
This question is about "Martha Martha"
Answer:
We can see that Martha went through a very difficult situation and left her traumatized.
Explanation:
By reading the story "Martha Martha" we understand that Martha is running away from something and that it is something related to her past that does not do her well. At the moment when she has a strong emotional imbalance when seeing the Amerelo apartment, we can conclude that she really had a problem in the past, whose memory makes her very uncomfortable. The narrative does not tell us what was the problem in Martha's past, but from her reaction, we can see that something serious has happened, that left her traumatized and that she needs to move.

Write a letter the chair of Governors outlining your views on the proposal
Hello. You did not inform the proposal to which the letter should refer. In that case, I wrote a letter responding to a proposal on raising taxes on the energy bill to fix injuries on major highways.
Answer and Explanation:
Dear sir.
I am writing to you about the proposal that seeks to raise taxes on the energy bill. I speak on behalf of the whole community when I say that we appreciate the initiative to use these taxes to repair our highways, which will make access to our state much easier.
However, I cannot help expressing a certain concern about the time that these works and the increase in taxes will continue and in the type of inspection that these works will have. This is because our state is made up of mostly low-income people, and although everyone agrees to pay for the highways concert, everyone is concerned about the delay in completing public works.
For this reason, I would like to ask you to be presented with a schedule of the work and a plan that show how the resources will be used. In addition, I would like the entire team that will work with this work to be presented to the population.
Kind regards.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE HELPPPPPPPPPPP Should Tv ads for junk food be banned? list the advantages and disadvantages in 150-200 words.
This is an opinion question, so I gave an explanation on both sides. Yes has 169 words, and no has 174!
YES:
Yes, I believe that TV ads promoting junk food should be banned. They actively promote unhealthy foods in a subtle way. Younger kids watching TV can see the ads with popular faces (Their favorite cartoon character, actor, or other people they look up too), then falsely assume that the junk food is going to be good for you. After they take in the mentality that junk food or unhealthy food is good for you, it will be implemented into their mindset and as they grow up- this will stay with them and promote an unhealthy eating habit. If we banned these ads, there would be advantages and disadvantages. Some advantages would be that the younger generation could possibly grow into healthy eating habits in an easier way or the ads also mess up our body’s way of understanding how hunger feels and can trigger mindless eating. Some disadvantages will be a decrease in junk food ads, less commercial jobs for actors, and a less popular demand for the foods.
-----------------------------------NO:
No, I do not believe TV ads for junk food should be banned. Kids from the ages 5-14 should not have to worry and be scared about their intake of food, if we do ban those ads it will promote insecurities in eating foods and not only be scared of eating the food for health reasons, but for being shamed or bullied by society. Not only are junk foods when eaten in moderation not detrimental to health in most kids, but when they're going to be taken away it will cause the kids who've become dependent on them for snacks for when they can't cook and don't have help cooking all the time to have to struggle to find something to eat. Of course, banning the ads will have pros and cons, but I truly believe that the cons outweigh the pros. The pros such as promoting a healthy eating habit, showing kids to eat healthy, etc., is VERY important, but there are many many ways we can do this without banning the ads.

THE MARTIAN: Throughout the story, the Martian says that Mrs. LaFarge knows what he is and that the other townspeople, when they encounter the Martian, know what he is. Why do you think the people do not care and want the Martian anyway, even though they know that what they are seeing and experiencing is not real?
Answer:
The people, even after knowing that what they are seeing and experiencing is not real, wanted the Martian because they all saw in him that one person who was mostly in their minds.
Explanation:
'The Martian Chronicles' is a Sci-Fi written by Ray Bradbury, of dystopian living of human on planet Mars, after nuclear war attacks on planet Earth.
In the account dated September 2005/2036, the novel chronicles about the life of LaFarge and his wife Anna, who lost their son Tom on Earth. One thunderstorming night, a figure like Tom appears on their door. LaFarge soon learns that he is not Tom, but a Martian, who has the ability of shape-shifting. Even after everyone in the town learned about 'the Martian', of who he is, they still wanted him because they all saw in him that person, who was mostly in their minds. For instance, the Martian appeared to be Tom, the dead son of LaFarge and Anna; and lost daughter Lavinia to Spaulding family; to some he appeared criminal, etc.
They wanted to have the Martian because they did not want to lose that person who was mostly on their minds once again.
