Citing something that your friend says!

Your friend aren't always reliable, reason being that they can lie to look smart. Also, a historian knows more than your "friend" If your friend doesn't have enough evidence to back up his/her/their reasonings, they are automatically incorrect. An encyclopedia isn't always reliable ether. I mean, there are THOUSANDS or different ones every day. How could you trust just one?

What was Shah Waliullah's role in the revival of Islam in the eighteenth century?

please answer it's really urgent
thanks

Answers

Explanation:

As most people know, Shah Wali Ullah was one of the most influential people in the subcontinent during the time at which Hindu-Muslim conflicts were at it’s peak. There were many more, like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, but I had to write a report on Shah Wali Ullah and I don’t have useless time to research and write reports on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan for no reason so here you go: an article about Shah Wali Ullah and his work.

The work of Shah Wali Ullah (1703 – 1762) was very important in the revival of Islam in the subcontinent during the eighteenth century.

The most important work of Shah Wali Ullah was the teaching and preaching of the basic, pure and true meanings of Islam in ‘Madarsa’ (aka, where kids go to learn how to read the Quran) through which he trained his sons (and other kids) who continued his work through several generations. This allowed him to spread his thoughts and beliefs, even when he was dead. He sent several missionaries to different countries, and even in parts of the subcontinent since, you know, it was so freaking huge.

But he didn’t just talk into a microphone, he wrote fifty freaking one books in order to explain the proper teachings of Islam. The books presented the correct concept and beliefs of Islam in a very simple form. Besides writing books, he wrote other stuff too. Like translating the entire Holy Quran into Persian, which was the dominating language at the time. Later, his sons translated the Holy Quran into Urdu, which allowed for more people to read and understand it.

Through his teachings he corrected many un-Islamic ideas and beliefs, which had crept in the Muslim culture and society. Through his teaching he also brought different sects of Muslims, especially the Shias and Sunnis, close and emphasized the need of unity among the Muslims.

Since many Muslims at the time were separating, as a lack of knowledge and understanding of the Holy Quran, he tried to unite all of them into a single community. He did so by firstly making and finding bridges between the different beliefs of Muslims and then secondly by uniting them into a single army to defend the subcontinent, which was being attacked by the Marathas. Yeah, through his efforts he managed to persuade the Afghan ruler, Ahmad Shah Abdali to attack and defeat the Marathas in the battle of Panipat in 1761. After this defeat the Marathas could not rise again. This sign of unity inspired many future reformers to revive Islam.

His efforts made many, if not all, Muslims to unite together and made them desire a country which they could call there own. If Shah Wali Ullah hadn’t united the Muslims, Pakistan probably wouldn’t have been made, and as such Muslims would be more spread out and different from each other then ever before.

The Aztecs, who probably originated as a nomadic tribe in northern Mexico, arrived in Mesoamerica around the beginning of the 13th century. From their magnificent capital city, Tenochtitlan, the Aztecs emerged as the dominant force in central Mexico, developing an intricate social, political, religious and commercial organization that brought many of the region’s city-states under their control by the 15th century. Invaders led by the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés overthrew the Aztec Empire by force and captured Tenochtitlan in 1521, bringing an end to Mesoamerica’s last great native civilization.

Did president Truman do the right thing by not dropping atomic bombs on china? Why or why not and explain

Answers

Explanation:

On November 30, 1950, President Harry S. Truman announces during a press conference that he is prepared to authorize the use of atomic weapons in order to achieve peace in Korea. At the time of Truman’s announcement, communist China had joined North Korean forces in their attacks on United Nations troops, including U.S. soldiers, who were trying to prevent communist expansion into South Korea.

Truman blamed the Soviet Union for using communist Chinese insurgents as part of a devious plan to spread communism into Asia and pledged to “increase our defenses to a point where we can talk—as we should always talk—with authority.” The press then asked what Truman planned to do if the Chinese Nationalists, who were already struggling against the spread of communism in their own country, failed to get involved in the Korean conflict. Truman responded that the U.S. would take “whatever steps were necessary” to contain communist expansion in Korea. A reporter asked “Will that include the atomic bomb?” to which Truman replied, “That includes every weapon that we have.”

In 1945, Truman authorized the use of two atomic bombs to end the war with Japan. The bombs were dropped on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and, although the Japanese did surrender, the horrifying results were still fresh in everyone’s minds. At the time, the U.S. was the only country to possess nuclear weapons. By the time the Korean conflict erupted, however, the Soviet Union had also developed an atomic bomb.

The bomb was dropped on japan not china it depends on the perspective , nationality, etc. people who wanted the war to end and wanted axis power to win would say yes. If you supported the Soviet Union then you would say dropping the bombs was not the right thing. If you were a pacifist then you could say it was bad because many people died. It depends on perspective there is no correct answer

Hippies made up the counterculture, as well as other self-described “bohemians.” They resisted in many ways, creating counter cultural art and forming independent communities. Actually learn this stuff - it’s really important to our society.
counter culture in the 60s was a ‘movement’ is sorts. the 60s was a time of activism, with many minority groups clamoring for change in the united states. with ‘counter culture’ we see a movement of young adults and people who embraced ‘hippie culture’. because of the baby boom from post WWII, young people of the 60s had a impact and consumer power. The Counter culture youth was a stark contrast to their parents, rejected the cultural standards of their parents and rejection of conventional social norms. the counter culture reflected themes and subjects of music, peace, love, harmony, freedom of sex, and psychedelic drugs, the counter culture reflected the rebellion in youth and the ideas of what freedom meant in America.
