Many historians claim that the Treaty of Versailles made World War II impossible to avoid. Identify at least two (2) provisions of the
treaty that would support this claim. Be sure to explain HOW those provisions made a second world war inevitable.

Answers

Answer:

Five long months later, on June 28—exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in Sarajevo—the leaders of the Allied and associated powers, as well as representatives from Germany, gathered in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles to sign the final treaty. By placing the burden of war guilt entirely on Germany, imposing harsh reparations payments and creating an increasingly unstable collection of smaller nations in Europe, the treaty would ultimately fail to resolve the underlying issues that caused war to break out in 1914, and help pave the way for another massive global conflict 20 years later

Just before dawn on May 13, 1862, Robert Smalls and a crew composed of fellow slaves, in the absence of the white captain and his two mates, slipped a cotton steamer off the dock, picked up family members at a rendezvous point, then slowly navigated their way through the harbor. Smalls, doubling as the captain, even donning the captain’s wide-brimmed straw hat to help to hide his face, responded with the proper coded signals at two Confederate checkpoints, including at Fort Sumter itself, and other defense positions. Cleared, Smalls sailed into the open seas. Once outside of Confederate waters, he had his crew raise a white flag and surrendered his ship to the blockading Union fleet.

Berlin Germany was called a “city of the dead” by a U.S. officer.

Why Berlin Germany was called a “city of the dead” ?

The Second World War not only resulted in an enormous loss of human life, but it also profoundly altered the terrain. Following the "total war" of 1939 to 1945, the continent was in ruins.

60 million inhabitants had been evicted from their homes. These once-vibrant villages and cities were now deadly wasteland. In the waters of the rivers they previously crossed, bridges sat in ruins.

The buildings were untenable, the railroads impassable, and the roads impassable. General Lucius Clay, the US deputy military governor of Germany, stated this upon entering Berlin in 1945: "Wherever we looked we saw desolation. It resembled a cemetery city.

Thus, it is Berlin Germany.

After the New Deal and into the post-World War Two era, the US pursued Keynesian economic policies. This meant what?

Using deficit spending to stimulate economic growth.

Supply-side economics.

Keeping a balanced federal budget and not going into debt.

Cutting taxes for the wealthy.

Answers

Answer:

Using deficit spending to stimulate economic growth.

Explanation:

John Maynard Keynes was a British economist born on the 5th of June, 1883 in Cambridge, England. He was famous for his brilliant ideas on government economic policy and macroeconomics which is known as the Keynesian theory. He later died on the 23rd of April, 1946 in Sussex, England.

After the New Deal and into the post-World War II era, the United States of America pursued Keynesian economic policies. This meant using deficit spending to stimulate economic growth.

Fiscal policy in economics refers to the use of government expenditures (spending) and revenues (taxation) in order to influence macroeconomic conditions such as Aggregate Demand (AD), inflation, and employment within a country. Fiscal policy is in relation to the Keynesian macroeconomic theory by John Maynard Keynes.

A fiscal policy affects combined demand through changes in government policies, spending and taxation which eventually impacts employment and standard of living plus consumer spending and investment.

According to the Keynesian theory, government spending or expenditures should be increased and taxes should be lowered when faced with a recession, in order to create employment and boost the buying power of consumers.

Develop an argument that evaluates the extent to which globalization affected culture in the 20th century

Answers

Explanation:

establecidas e identidades nacionales bien distintas”.3
