Write 4 Paragraphs And Thank You

Answers

Answer 1

There is something new! There is now 5 seasons instead of 4. Everyone is really happy. It is called the second summer. This is pretty cool because summer does not last very long, and with a second summer it could last longer.

Some people might not enjoy having a longer summer though. It is a big change for everyone. Me and my friends like summer because there is more time for us to do things together, and spend more time together. Summer is fun for a lot of people for example, there is no school. When you dont have school it makes more time for people to spend with family and friends.

If there is a second summer there is more time to spend outside, with friends, going on trips with family, and lots of other things. This is because there would be more time off school. If there was more time off school then there is more free time to do what ever you want. But.... some people do not like summer as much as others. The people that dont really like summer would just have to get used to it. There is nothing you can do that is part of earths rotation.

So if there is 5 seasons now, no one can change it. They can not change it because no one can rotate or tilt the earth. The earth tilts when it is changing seasons. No one can just go up and tilt the earth so they could have the season they want. But that is what i think would be cool if there were 2 summers. Also during summer is when family, and Friends can plan vacations. So people could go on vacation more to!

this is the best I can do❤❤

in your own words, what is biodiversity?

Answers

Answer:

Biodiversity is all about the different living species we have on earth, such as animals, plants, bacteria, and including fungi. It also includes species that have not been discovered yet, along with microorganisms and invertebrates. Why is it important, you may ask? Well, Biodiversity prevents certain animals from being extinct, allows organisms to adapt to the environment around them, and in addition, provides an excessive amount of food and materials for survival. Lastly, Biodiversity helps support our Ecosystem, so in the long run, it can withstand and recover from a multitude of disasters.

Indicate whether each of the following occurs in the ER (E), Cytoplasm (C), Golgi apparatus (G), lysosome (L) or mitochondria (M). Your answer would be a four-letter string composed of letters E, C, G, L and Monly (e.g. ECEM, please do not use spaces). You may choose the same letter twice or not choose it at all. This is an all or none questions, no partial credit will be given.
(1) Addition of the first GlcNAc oligosaccharides to the asparagine residue of a protein
(2) Synthesis of phosphatidylcholine
(3) Degradation of misfolded ER protein
(4) O-linked glycosylation

Answers

Answer:

EELG

(1) Addition of the first GlcNAc oligosaccharides to the asparagine residue of a protein occurs in the Lumen of the Endopslamic Reticulum

(2) Synthesis of phosphatidylcholine occurs in the Endoplasmic Reticulum

(3) Degradation of misfolded ER protein ossurs in the Lysosome

(4) O-linked glycosylation occurs in the Golgiapparatus

Explanation:

1. The covalent attachment of a carbohydrate to a macromolecule such as proteins or lipids is known as glycosylation.

N-linked glycosylation is a very common form of glycosylation and it occurs in eukaryotes in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum.

The addition of the first GlcNAc oligosaccharides to the asparagine residue of a proteinmos an example of N-linked glycosylation.

2. Phosphatidylcholine is synthesized through the CDP-choline pathway which occurs at the cytoplasmic face of the endoplasmic reticulum. Choline entering the cell is immediately phosphorylated by choline kinase, converting choline to phosphocholine.

Phosphocholine is then converted to CDP-choline by the second enzyme in the pathway, CTP:phosphocholine cytidylyltransferase (CT).

The phosphocholine moiety is then added to diacylglycerol in a reaction catalyzed by CDP-choline:1,2-diacylgylcerol cholinephosphotransferase to complete the synthesis of phosphocholine.

3. Lysosomes are the cell organelles which are responsible for the breakdown of proteins as well as other components of the cell. Misfolded proteins are identified and transported to lysosomes through chaperone-mediated autophagy, macroautophagy and endocytosis, where they are then degraded.

4. O-linked glycosylation is a form of glycosylation that occurs in eukaryotes in the Golgi apparatus.

the length of bamboo grows much faster than that of thickness why?

Answers

Using a slow- and fast-growing variant of bamboo, Wei and colleagues looked at cell division, growth, and gene expression (through transcriptomics, which measures all the genes being expressed by an individual) to discover which genes may be responsible for fast growth in bamboo. They found that the slow-growing variant had reduced expression of genes relating to cell wall construction, the plant hormone auxin (important for cell growth and cell division), and had irregular cell growth and cell walls. Wei and colleagues suggest that a reduced ability to produce and perceive auxin, combined with a weakened cell wall, are responsible for the slow growth seen in the bamboo variant.

Answers

Answer:

The amount of CO2 found in the atmosphere varies over the course of a year. Much of this variation happens because of the role of plants in the carbon cycle. Respiration happens all the time, but dominates during the colder months of the year, resulting in higher CO2 levels in the atmosphere during those months.

describe the structure of an atom of argon-38 and argon-40

Answers

Answer:

Argon 38 has 18 proton and 20 neutron

Argon 40 has 18 proton and 22 neutron

Explanation:

isotope is same no of proton diff no of neutron

Both argon-38 and argon-40 have 18 protons but they have different atomic masses. The atomic mass of argon-38 is 38u while the atomic mass of argon-40 is 40u. Thus, they are isotopes.

What are isotopes? Some atoms contain the same number of protons (i.e. same atomic number) but they have a different number of neutrons (i.e. different mass numbers). These types of atoms are called isotopes.Argon element has three isotopes namely, argon-36, argon-38 and argon-40. All the three isotopes of argon have the same number of protons i.e. 18. But, all have different numbers of neutrons and thus, different mass numbers. Argon-36 has 18 neutrons, argon-38 has 20 neutrons and argon-40 has 22 neutrons. Thus, the mass numbers of argon-36, argon-38 and argon-40 are 36u, 38u and 40u respectively.

Thus, the structure of an atom of argon-38 and argon-40 is slightly different as they are isotopes. Argon 40 has more atomic mass than argon-38. But, both contain the same number of protons. They have similar chemical properties but different physical properties.

B, C, and E are the processes that release carbon compounds to the atmosphere

The processes that considerably turn carbon compounds into the atmosphere are the decaying of organisms, the respiration of animals, and emissions from automobiles and factories. Thus, the correct options for this question are B, C, and E.

What do you mean by the Carbon cycle?

The carbon cycle may be defined as a type of biogeochemical cycle through which carbo and its derivative products are exchanged among the various spheres of the earth's surface. Carbon is considered one of the main components of biological systems.

In the carbon cycle, rhe process of photosynthesis utilizes the carbon from the atmosphere in order to produce chemical energy in the form of glucose. While the excretion of animal waste products is responsible for nitrogenous compounds like urea or ammonia.

Except for these two, all other options are directly liberating carbon into the atmosphere which can easily be demonstrated in the carbon cycle.

Therefore, the correct options for this question are B, C, and E.

A female's internal reproductive organs are the vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. The vagina is a muscular, hollow tube that extends from the vaginal opening to the uterus. Because it has muscular walls, the vagina can expand and contract.

Explanation:

Welcome!

Answer:

The oviduct and uterus provide the environments for the earliest stages of mammalian embryo development. However, little is known about the mechanisms that underlie the formation of oviduct and uterine fluids, or the extent to which the supply of nutrients via these reproductive tract tissues matches the nutrient requirements of early embryos. After reviewing our limited knowledge of these phenomena, a new experimental paradigm is proposed in which the epithelia lining the endosalpinx and endometrium are seen as the final components in a supply line that links maternal diet at one end and embryo uptake of nutrients at the other. When considered in this way, the oviduct and uterine epithelia become, for a few days, potentially the most critical maternal tissues in the establishment of a healthy pregnancy. In fulfilling this 'gatekeeper' role, female reproductive tract fluids have a key role in the 'developmental origins of health and disease' concept.

What is the significance of the reflex action?

Reflex actions are important because they allow the body to respond quickly to stimuli without waiting for the brain, and they can be especially important in situations where a quick response is necessary to avoid danger, such as when the hand touches hot substances and the hand suddenly goes back, which is due to the motor neuron action of the spinal cord.
