Imagine you could give one piece of advice to a younger brother or sister. What would this advice be? Make sure to explain why this advice is important.

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

There's so many different kinds of advice to give. One I would give to my siblings is don't let life get you down.

Kids only understand but so much. All they want to do is run and play and be kids. What they don't understand is that soon, they will be paying bills, and working, and possibly providing for their own family´s. It is important to know this because sometimes, life can be challenging, hard, stressful, and depressing. But if you let it knock you down, you may not get back up again, and you will miss out on the great things that could possibly happen.

It is proven that every 1 in 5 adults over the age of 18 have experienced depression. A lot of these cases could be due to the struggles of being an adult. Sometimes, it isn't only the adults who can become depressed.  Wanting to fit in, the loss of a loved one, not feeling good enough, can all lead to depression in children and these aren't even half of the reasons. But again, if you let these get you down, you may not get back up again.

I would want my siblings to know this because I don't want them to have a life where they are constantly being knocked down by challenges of game  called life. Where the challenges are inevitable and there is nothing they can do about it.

An expository essay is one that conveys information through facts. Expository writing is the general term for this kind of writing.

How to write an expository essay?

Expository essays use a variety of frameworks, such as compare and contrast, process essays, and cause and effect analysis, to convey their points of view.

An expository article ought to adopt a neutral perspective: Your personal beliefs or experiences are not relevant. Instead, you should aim to present a thorough and objective analysis of your subject. Avoid saying "I" or "you" in the first or second person.

The major distinction between argumentative and expository essays is that one is subjective, whereas the former is objective. Focus on Your Topic • Read over your instructor's assignment; if they gave you a topic, get as much information about it as you can.

Which statement best describes the reason for God's
instructions to Martha in this passage?
Read the passage from "The Book of Martha."
"Don't worry," God said. "I won't be sending you back
home with another message that people can ignore or
twist to suit themselves. It's too late for that kind of thing
anyway." God shifted on his throne and looked at her
with his head cocked to one side. "You'll borrow some of
my power," he said. "You'll arrange it so that people treat
one another better and treat their environment more
sensibly. You'll give them a better chance to survive than
they've given themselves. I'll lend you the power, and
you'll do this." He paused, but this time she could think of
nothing to say
O He believes that people just need more time to
change.
O He thinks that Martha deserves to have his power.
O He does not trust people to change on their own.
O He wants to make sure Martha works hard to change
people.

Answers

Answer:

I want to say it would be C.

Explanation:

I say this because He sends Martha back with some of His power, which is to help the people down here, instead of having to tell them what He said... Which means He didn't trust them to change on their own by giving Martha the power. (if I'm wrong please tell me the correct answer.)

He does not trust people to change on their own is the statement best describes the reason for God's instructions to Martha in this passage. Hence, option C is correct.

What is the message of the Book of Martha?

The story "The Book of Martha" is about trying to make the ideal world. God assigns the responsibility of encouraging people to be less harmful to a lady by the name of Martha. Martha gradually begins to think of ways that she may benefit humanity despite her fear of making mistakes and anger toward God for the way he had created the world.

God responded, "I have chosen you for all that you are and all that you are not." "I could have picked someone who was far more destitute and needy. You were the one I wanted for this, so I chose you. He either sounded irritated or not, Martha couldn't tell.

The sisters of Lazarus, Martha and Mary, invite Jesus of Nazareth into their home in this historical story.

Answer:

Word Count

Explanation:

The answer is Word Count, this is correct because the options "Word Number" and "Word Length" do not make much sense when trying to calculate the total number of words in a piece of writing. And, not all pieces of writing are stories, so you can cross of "Story Length" as an option too. Leaving you with "Word Count", which can be the accumulative number of words in a piece of writing.

Hope this helps!

The term for the number of words in a piece of writing is word count. Option D is the correct answer.

Word count refers to the total number of words present in a given text or piece of writing. It is commonly used as a measure to assess the length, complexity, or scope of a written work. For example, a student may be asked to write an essay with a minimum word count of 500 words, meaning they must include at least 500 words in their essay. Option D is the correct answer.

Word count is commonly used in various contexts, such as academic writing, creative writing, journalism, and publishing. It helps writers and readers assess the size and depth of a written piece. Counting the number of words in a piece of writing can be done manually by tallying each word, but it is more commonly done using word processing software that automatically provides the word count. Describe Nick. What facts do you know about him, and what do you infer about him? What kind of a narrator do you think he will be? (From The Great Gatsby book)

Answers

Answer: However, as Nick continues to narrate the story, we see that he does make judgments. In the first chapter, he describes Tom as having "arrogant eyes" and a "supercilious manner." While Nick's observations may be correct, Fitzgerald establishes Nick as an unreliable narrator, as he has already proved himself false.

As Nick leaves Daisy and Tom's house, he remarks "I was confused and a little disgusted as I drove away." This is another example of his judgment but also is a clue to Nick's feelings as we keep reading. We can infer that he is not like his cousin and does not agree with the Buchanans' attitudes and lifestyle.

Nick tells us he is from a prominent and well-off family, but we see that he rents a smaller and not-so-extravagant house. Nick thinks of himself as an intellectual and has a hopeful attitude.

So, she said “it should be no problem at least that’s what school says.” So, we still have to show up for school? He says, “yea which kind of sucks I mean I know were going to be fine but still this is kind of still scary.”

You make your way to school and all the teachers are calm until the intercom turns on ordering everyone to get home immediately. Your friend comes to you and says can I come home with you, and you say yea sure why not. Your friend and you hop in your car and head back to your house into your bunker just in case. You turn on the tv and they say there is 74% chance of the nuke hitting the earth. You head upstairs and seal the windows, wall, and door you then transfer all the food downstairs. You come downstairs to your friend watching the tv and they say that the bomb squad has been wiped out.

You start to feel this feeling crawling up your back. You look at your friend and they say we’ll be all right. Then you switch the channel, and you see a news reporter saying that the government is working on a weapon that will put it in a portal where it just falls forever. They then show what the weapon looks like, and they describe what it's going to look like in 10 minutes. They say it would look like a giant spikey ring and they say it's going to float on the ocean surface.

10 minutes later

they show on the news what color the nuke is and how big it is and it's only a tiny cube but highly explosive and it's also red. Then the news shows these giant drones placing huge ring portal. Wow, what an ending, I didn't expect that. Surprised you didn't chose the most common ending in elementary (not saying you are) saying "you woke up and realized it was a dream"

I would try to use less then's in your story since I feel like I kept reading the word then over and over after each sentence ended. maybe add more story to why your friend wants to go to your house and not their house.
