What is the measure of ZA?
B
С
(3y + 27)°
What is the measure of ZB?
(5y - 3)
A
D
Answer: ZA= 72 ZB=108
Explanation:
5y-3 = 3y + 27
2y-3=27
2y=30
y=15
(5(15)-3)
= 72= ZA
180-72= 108 = ZB
The measure of <A and the measure of <B given their equation is 72°
How to find angles<A = (3y + 27)°
<B = (5y - 3)°
Equate both equations3y + 27 = 5y - 3
collect like terms3y - 5y = -3 - 27
-2y = -30
divide both sides by -2y = 15
Therefore,
<A = (3y + 27)°
= 3×15 + 27
= 45 + 27
= 72°
<B = (5y - 3)
= 5×15 - 3
= 75 - 3
= 72°

how to train your brain for the ACT,SAT.
you get brainliest if it right
Answer:
1. Take time to study the material. The content is not that hard (except maybe the reading section can be tricky to understand). The math topics would have been taught in school. The grammar is good to review nonetheless.
2. Practice at least 2 months prior to the test. And by practice I mean 5 hours minimum each week.
3. Don’t just do practice tests, pick on your mistakes. This is the biggest lesson I’ve learned. Study smarter not harder. When you’ve taken the diagnostic test and covered additional material, start doing practice sets that focus on THAT very weakness. There are many free online SAT resources but I do recommend getting 1 or 2 books.
4. Take some time off. It’s no good waking up early every day, mindlessly sitting on your desk and starting to revise. Take a gap every 2 days so that you can try reconciling what you learnt. If you make the same mistakes or forgot something, that tells you that you should probably spend more time on it.
5. If your academics start hindering your study time for the SAT, don’t let it. It’s natural to delve into school assignments. Obviously, grades matter immensely. But you NEED to find time (whether it’s 20 minutes every day) to practice. Set yourself a schedule.
6. Last tip - Stop stressing over it. It’s hard not to because of the competition, expectations and what not but stressing and going wild will only have repercussions.
Hope this will help :) good luck too!
