Beginner artists think digital art is easier because you can press the undo button in case you messed up your artwork and revert the image to previous steps before the mistake. I believe that digital arts can be considered true arts, but with some limitations.

True art is something that is completely “homemade” and is something that is started from scratch and turned into something new.

From my experience with digital art, there are many digital artists that use pre-made pictures and alter it and call it their own.
