The American citizens believed that they had to have their consent to be taxed. It was a violation of their rights. Soon, the citizens had enough of the British and declared war.

The stamp act led up to the American Revolution because Americans thought that they were being unfairly treated by the way that the British lived in “ success “ while the Americans were their to pay off their taxes. It made it really hard for everyone else because everyone and everywhere you went you had to pay taxes playing games , eating , drinking, etc. Also the Americans couldn’t just paid for the money by their selfs they had to earn British Currency which would take a lot of work for what the British were taxing them with , and Americans fought for the British and asked for supplies but the British never complied that, that was the right decision the main cause that made America mad was that they were using that tax money to pay for their own troops and didn’t leave a penny for Americans troops and colonies from they have done this was the born famous saying to this day after many Americans thought it wasn’t fair to be taxed without their right and then it was born “ No Taxation Without representation” . The Americans stood to that saint and fought for it. Here comes the Sons of Liberty and they were a big role in this play. They fought for Americans in the court room Britain Representatives thought that this was outrageous but the Sons of liberty won the fight and then British was still collecting taxes but not effectively to help them out. Anyways this is my explanation of the American revolution and how the Stamp Act played its role :)
