There’s actually a phenomenon that have studies to back them up including a whole game show experiment, that when behind a screen people gain a sense of anonymity. They don’t link morality with their actions. It’s quite fascinating- I think it could certainly perpetuate it. You’re behind a screen with no repercussions and no sense of self/morality to have.
