I think that if either of the women had responded differently, the problem would not have been so complex. If they were like really close friends or even sister, the problem probably would've gone over smoother. They way they interact, is way different from the way super close friends or sisters would react. Both of them should've at least tried to look at it from the others perspective and not just jump to conclusions.
