Read the excerpt from the article "Opinion: Bicultural Identity is Something to Be Embraced."
Patel explains that when her peers asked her questions related to her culture—like why her mother wore a bindhi or why she was a vegetarian—it made her uncomfortable. She avoided questions and made a point of fitting in. She was embarrassed about the wonderful foods she ate, like curry and roti, and never shared details of her travels to India or important celebrations like Diwali.
How do the ideas in the excerpt differ from the opinion of the author of the article "Diversity in Media Has a Positive Impact on Kids"?
A: The author of "Diversity in Media Has a Positive Impact on Kids" wants children to be less focused on the media and more focused on academics.
B: The author of "Diversity in Media Has a Positive Impact on Kids" wants children to be proud of their cultural heritage from an early age.
C: The author of "Diversity in Media Has a Positive Impact on Kids" wants children to be focused more on family traditions than culture.
D: The author of "Diversity in Media Has a Positive Impact on Kids" wants children to not worry about their cultural heritage.

Leader Paylor's initial life is obscure, in any case, as an inhabitant of District 8, she no doubt worked in the area's material production lines like most different residents.
What happened when Katniss meets Paylor?Katniss initially meets Paylor when she goes to District 8's clinic to film a propo for the Airtime Assault on the Capitol. Paylor takes Katniss alongside Gale Hawthorne, Boggs, and the TV group into the clinic.
Paylor watches Katniss intently, to see if she is tough where it really counts and on the off chance that they have been on the whole correct to depend on her.
Alongside a couple of others, Paylor appeared to detect that President Coin was not a reliable person to lead the insubordination. It is conceivable that the bombarding of the Capitol kids, Paylor was disturbed herself and understood that this attack was a veneer and infringement of the arrangement to vanquish the Capitol.

I need someone to tell me if my first paragraph of my argument paper sounds good.
i feel like it sounds weird.
my topic is: should poetry be taught more in school?
(first paragraph must have: transition, first reason, evidence and explanation 3x in that order)
The first reason is that poetry helps express emotions and feelings better and it strengthens overall mental health. A lot of people struggle to talk about their feelings face to face with someone. Sometimes it’s easier to express your feelings through writing. Poetry allows you to express your feelings and get it all out without having to share those emotions with others. “We are similar because we go through the same joys and sorrows, through the same illusions and disappointments. The supreme law of living makes us equals, and to a greater or lesser degree, we all feel euphoria and depression, sadness and happiness, hope and disappointments.” (How Does Poetry Communicate Feelings and Emotions?) Not everyone can tell their stories through poetry because they were never taught how to make connections. Through poetry, you can pour all your emotions out onto a piece of paper. Maybe if poetry was taught more in schools, more people would go on into life without bottling up their emotions and going through depression. They would go move on in life knowing they have some way of expressing all their feelings without sharing them with a person. It’s never good to sit there and bottle up your emotions. You can take all those bottled-up emotions and write them down using several types of poetry. “A well-crafted phrase or two in a poem can help us see an experience in an entirely new way. We can gain insight that had evaded us many times, that gives us new understanding and strength.” (Five Reasons Why We Need Poetry in Schools) The brain processes poetry a lot like music. A lot of people use music to express themselves or make themselves happier when they’re upset. (Poetry Lights Up the Brain) “MRIs have shown that both art forms stimulate regions in the brain’s right hemisphere that are linked to reward and emotion.” So even when reading poetry, you can start to feel better. So many people can understand the way others feel. Reading certain poetry can make you feel included and not so alone.
Answer:
it could be a bit more.
Explanation:
the paragraph is amazing, but you used the reasoning "of bottling up emotions" in the argument but in different ways, what you can say is also that; a lot of people cannot express their emotions as some struggle to process the pain and sadness someone feels, how some don't know how it feels and can only be explained through a piece of paper.

Write two paragraphs (6 sentences minimum per paragraph) on nature. Provide descriptive words for the natural world, its daily activity, and how it interacts with itself. Trees and wind. Waves and sand. Birds and other birds. Creatures and other creatures.
please helppppp
btw.. NO FILES >:-(
Answer:
Explanation:
Nature can be defined as the physical world and the life which interacts with it. It is the total of the ecosystem, animals, birds, plants, landscapes, and humans. Nature not just includes life but also is the host for the non-living physical entities as well. Nature took billions of years to grow and form to shape what we see today.
Nature has given us everything. The sweet sound of chirping birds to hear every morning, crystal clear water to drink every day, a cold breeze to feel, pure air to breathe in, and mouth-watering food to eat is entirely pleasing. Mother Nature has always nourished us. It has always taken care of us and has provided us with all the necessities of life. It has provided shelter to birds and animals, shade to travellers, and even branches to tie swigs for children to enjoy.
Today, humans are harming the environment by polluting and damaging it. Many organizations are working to make nature cleaner. It is our duty to keep our surroundings clean and use biodegradable material to keep nature clean. We have to revive Mother Nature, who has always nourished and nurtured us.

Watch Out for the Octopus! :book name)
There are a lot of deadly animals in the world. Some are poisonous, meaning they use poison as a defense. If you touch them, you might absorb the poison through your skin. Others are venomous, meaning they use their poison to attack. What are some of the deadliest animals out there?
One truly deadly animal is the puffer fish. It does not look dangerous, but its skin and organs are poisonous to humans. Oddly, people like to eat the puffer fish. Cooks who work with it have to have a special license. It is supposed to be delicious—as long as you don’t take a bite of those parts of it that might be fatal! Puffer fish could be the last meal you ever have.
Exotic poison dart frogs are found in the jungles of South and Central America. These tiny frogs are unusually colorful, but their beauty is sinister. Their skin is so poisonous that if enemies touch it or try to eat it, they will quickly die.
Snakes, of course, are known for being venomous. The taipan lives in Australia and is considered the world’s most venomous snake. Its venom is said to be four hundred times stronger than that of the next most venomous snake. Luckily, the taipan is very shy and secretive, and it is rarely seen by humans. King cobras, which live in East and Southeast Asia, are the longest venomous snakes, growing to more than eighteen feet in length
Some animals have very venomous stings. Scorpions, with their sharp tails, are among them. The deathstalker scorpion, found in North Africa and the Middle East, has a strong, painful poison. Many spiders are venomous, too, including the Brazilian wandering spider. It is especially dangerous because it moves around a lot and might be found in someone’s shoe or under a bed. In the United States, black widow spiders and brown recluse spiders are the most common venomous spiders. But they do not match the danger of the Brazilian wandering spider or the funnel-web spider of Australia. Like scorpions, venomous spiders use their poison to get food.
You might not think of an octopus as being venomous, but the blue-ringed octopus certainly is. It is small and brightly colored, and it can move very quickly. It lives in the waters around Asia and Australia. Its sting is both painful and dangerous.
There are poisonous and venomous animals almost everywhere in the world. That is why it is usually a good idea to be careful if you see an unfamiliar animal—especially an unfamiliar snake, spider, frog, scorpion, fish, or octopus!
Question: Which of these gives the main purpose of the passage?
A. to be a reference for all poisonous and venomous animals
B. to entertain the reader with stories about unique animals
C. to inform the reader about different poisonous and
venomous animals
D. to persuade the reader to protect themselves from
dangerous animals
Answer:
D
Explanation:
It tells you to protect yourself. It would be the best answer. Hope this helps!
