write a paragraph on the topic girls education

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Girls still deprive of education in many countries of the world. It is not good for them, their society as well as for their nation. Even Indian society considers women inferior to men. Perhaps, it is the reason for Indians still struggling as an underdeveloped nation. We should seriously think about it.

Girls, in most of the developing countries, are facing the lack of education. They are forced to bear tortures everywhere. Initially, they struggle to get a life and then to get a basic education. They also strive to get a job and to marry a guy of their choice. The main reason for all this is the lack of education in women. This problem will remain until we decide to educate every girl.

An educated girl is like a blessing for society. She becomes able to educate her complete family. She also nurtures her children by instilling good manners. A girl can lead the world to the right path. The most important tool she needs is basic and higher education

If the following statement occurred in the body of a speech, it would be an example of what kind of connective?As I shall explain next, solving the problem of groundwater contamination involves two steps: limiting new development and requiring builders to use more efficient septic systems.

Answers

Answer:

Internal preview.

Explanation:

Internal previews are defined as the type of connectives that occur immediately after the transition and are primarily employed to direct or foreshadow the readers/audience about the upcoming main point that is going to be covered next. The speaker usually lists the sub-points which together make up the main point.

The given statement would be characterized as the 'internal preview' kind of connective if it occurred in a speech as it is a brief statement that forecasts the upcoming point of the speech('the two types of solving the problem of groundwater contamination'). It helps in preparing the audience for the next idea and also in maintaining order in the speech that comprehends better understanding.

Which sentences uses deductive reasoning

Answers

Answer:

Some would argue deductive reasoning is an important life skill. It allows you to take information from two or more statements and draw a logically sound conclusion.

Explanation:

Deductive reasoning is a type of deduction used in science and in life. It is when you take two true statements, or premises, to form a conclusion. For example, A is equal to B. B is also equal to C. Given those two statements, you can conclude A is equal to C using deductive reasoning.

Now, let’s look at a real-life example.

All dolphins are mammals.  All mammals have kidneys.

some more examples

Everyday life often tests our powers of deductive reasoning. Did you ever wonder when you'd need what you learned in algebra class? Well, if nothing else, those lessons were meant to stretch our powers of deductive reasoning. Remember, if a = b and b = c, then a = c. Let's flesh that out with added examples: All numbers ending in 0 or 5 are divisible by 5. The number 35 ends with a 5, so it must be divisible by 5. All birds have feathers. All robins are birds. Therefore, robins have feathers. It's dangerous to drive on icy streets. The streets are icy now, so it would be dangerous to drive on the streets. All cats have a keen sense of smell. Fluffy is a cat, so Fluffy has a keen sense of smell. Cacti are plants, and all plants perform photosynthesis. Therefore, cacti perform photosynthesis. Red meat has iron in it, and beef is red meat. Therefore, beef has iron in it. Acute angles are less than 90 degrees. This angle is 40 degrees, so it must be an acute angle. All noble gases are stable. Helium is a noble gas, so helium is stable. Elephants have cells in their bodies, and all cells have DNA. Therefore, elephants have DNA. All horses have manes. The Arabian is a horse; therefore, Arabians have manes.

To the editor,

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF LEARNING FROM HOME

Good day Sir, my name is Raj.

I made this decision to write you this letter to tell you my experiences since this coronavirus pandemic.

With the lockdown due to the virus, schools have been closed for a while now and there have been home learning to make sure that students are not totally without education. I believe this is very good but like anything that has an advantage, there are also disadvantages.

Since I started learning at home, I found out I assimilate information much faster because I'm mostly taught by my parents or a teacher as the case may be.

Another advantage is the fact that there is ample time for "field work" or practicals which were not like this in school.

One advantage I noticed is that, there are lots of distractions because people at home would distract someone that is ready to play.

While we struggle with the reality of the virus, I do believe that learning from home have far superior points.

Yours sincerely,

Raj Kumar

Answers

Answer:

It keeps the audience engaged in the plot by  suggesting more potential conflict in the story.

It creates suspense as the reader wonders why Friar Laurence would utter this warning.

It provides a clue that something tragic will happen to the lovers later as the story progresses.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Ju liet" revolves around the fateful love story of two young lovers who were dealt a heavy blow due to their family's opposition to each other. Their love became 'illegal' and thus, led to the two lovers choosing death over anything that can separate them.

In Act I scene v of the play, Friar Laurence's speech about "violent delights [that] have violent ends" and the need to "love moderately; long love doth so;" shows a sense of suspense about what might happen in the coming scenes. This foreshadowing speech of the Friar leaves the audience so engaged in the story, keeping it open for more conflicting scenes. Moreover, it also makes us wonder why he had to say that, which in turn keeps the suspense over the fate of the lovers in the open, suggesting that the lovers may be met with something tragic.

Thus, the correct answers are the first, third, and fifth options.

The marked price of a watch is 30% above the cost price. When it is sold allowing
20% discount on it, there is a gain of Rs 150. Find the marked price and the cost
price of the watch.
CO
When

Answers

Answer:

The marked price of the watch is Rs 4875 and the cost price is Rs 3750

Explanation:

Let the cost price of the watch be Rs. y and the marked price of the watch be Rs. x.

The marked price of a watch is 30% above the cost price, therefore the marked price of the watch (x) = y + 30% × y = y + 0.3y = 1.3y.

The watch is sold at 20% discount, this means it is sold at x - 20% × x = x - 0.2x = 0.8x.

When sold at 20% discount, there is a gain of Rs 150. Therefore:

0.8x = 150 + cost price

0.8x = 150 + y

but x = 1.3y

0.8(1.3y) = 150 + y

1.04y = 150 + y

1.04y - y = 150

0.04y = 150

y = 3750

Since x = 1.3y = 1.3(3750) = 4875

Therefore the marked price of the watch is Rs 4875 and the cost price is Rs 3750

Answers

Answer:

'Although choosing between the model types like desktop and laptop is a decision for the consumer, the decision is personal.'

Explanation:

Conjunctions are defined as the words that are used to connect two or more words, clauses(principle and subordinate), phrases, or sentences. They are of three types: coordinating conjunction, subordinating conjunction, and correlative conjunction. Coordinating conjunctions like 'and', 'but', 'yet' etc. are employed to join two independent clauses or words and phrases while subordinating conjunction is used in complex sentences to link a dependent clause along with an independent clause. Correlative conjunction are used in pairs. For example, 'between/and', 'but/also', etc.

Turner is in conflict with his father because Turner does not want to become a minister. the reverend is always critical of him. Turner does not like to explore on his own. the reverend yells at him from the pulpit.

Answers

Answer:

Turner is in conflict with his father the reverend is always critical of him.

Explanation:

Gary D. Schmidt's historical fiction "Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy" revolves around the life of Turner and his friendship with a black girl named Lizzie Bright Griffin. Even though his father and all of Phippsburg are still against the intermingling of whites and blacks, Turner is not like them. This story delves deep into the friendship between the two youngsters amidst the racism in their respective societies.

As given in the passage, Turner's late arrival will be taken by his father as a sign that his son is trying everything to embarrass him. Even though he is a reverend and supposed to 'love everyone', he nevertheless believes in racial discrimination even though he might not like to admit. And as such, he doesn't like his son mingling with people from the Malaga islands. Turner's view that "his father would stand on the porch and look at him in a way that said Turner would never be the kind of son he had hoped for—it would be as loud as if he had just announced it from the pulpit" reveals how Turner and his father seems to be at conflict with one another. The reverend seems to be always critical of Turner, and the mindset that he has even before Turner could explain his situation all support it.

Answer: B) the reverend is always critical of him.
