She has always achieved A grades throughout her school years, and is now in her final year and getting ready to graduate. Unfortunately she has been very ill this term, and missed several weeks of schooling. She has just turned in a report which is worth 40% of her final grade, but you realize that she did not write it herself – she has copied a report found online and tried to pass it off as her own work. If you report her plagiarized work to the school authorities it will be entered on her permanent record and she will no longer be eligible to attend the prestigious university that she has dreamed of attending all through high school. If you refuse to accept the report, her final mark will be very poor and may harm her chances of being chosen for this university. If you mark the paper as though you believed it was her own work, she will do very well, and stand every chance of getting her desired university place. What should someone do in this situation? help :( Explain how each trait help to tell a story: Focus: Use of Detail: Use of Language: Tone: message:
Answer:
Focus: Focus is one element that keeps a story—any piece of writing—on track, that provides cohesion as well as direction. Focus directs not only readers but characters and plot. Focus tells everyone what's important. It also tells readers what isn't important, what can be ignored.
Use of detail: Good stories use detail. Stories built on important or interesting themes supported by small but revealing detail are more complete because they give the reader more to grab on to.
Use of language: Another way to phrase the question might be “How does the author's use of language help her convey what she’s trying to say?” Think about emotions characters feel and emotions you feel while reading. What word choices does the author make? Are the sentences long or short, complicated or simple? Is the vocabulary fancy or slang? How does the character's way of speaking show their personality? Look for figurative language such as alliteration, onomatopeia, metaphors similes, hyperbole. Look for repetition. Think about the ideas the author wants to express. The mood he wants to create.
Tone: Tone, in a piece of literature, decides how the readers read a literary piece and how they should feel while they are reading it. It stimulates the readers to read a piece of literature as a serious, comical, spectacular or distressing.
Message: A story's message, or theme, is what the author wants to teach you through his or her writing. Some stories have a specific kind of message called a moral, or a life lesson. You can find the message of a story by looking at the characters' actions and focusing on what is repeated throughout the story.

TOPIC: SHOULD VIDEO GAMES BE BANNED?
Video games always provide a great pass time activity for children. There are many types of games and they are so addictive that when a child is not controlled, they can spend all their time playing the games. The game a child plays can be a good or a bad thing in their life. For example, children who learn how to play chess online as a video game at a young age usually show signs of high levels of intelligence. However, the same case does not apply for most video games. Due to this reason, I think video games should be banned.
The effects of video games are as varied as the number of the games. One effect that is common with all of them is their addiction. This can be a terrible thing because a child might not do any productive activity whenever at home. This means that they do not study when at home or even do their assignments. Consequently, their performance at school definitely decreases. Moreover, the child could sacrifice development of their talent such as attending a music class just for the purpose of playing a violent game.
Another effect that has caused ripples among parents and the society in general is the possible violent behaviour in kids who play such games. Several studies have been conducted to investigate the relationship between such games and violent behaviour in children. Controlled experiments place little emphasis on this relationship. The obtained results show that the negative effects of such games are quite minimal. It has been observed that violence displayed on television such as in action movies or video games that create death scenes has more chances of leading to violence in children than regular games. However, it is important to note that when a child plays a violent game, they are likely to experience some mental effects. These effects include an increase of both heart rate and brain activity.
Hence, there is also an observation regarding these games and their players where children who are naturally aggressive prefer playing this type of games to others. This observation can unlikely lower the chances of violent games leading to violent behaviour in children. When interviewed, some kids who play this type of games say that they are not negatively affected by the games. This is definitely backed up by their violent behaviour already caused by the video game which they haven’t noticed yet.
Therefore, it is safe to say that non-violent games not on a device rarely lead to violent behaviour in children compared to online video games that are violent or not violent. However, they are not beneficial to the children because of their addictive nature, which can destroy a child’s growth. As previously said, video games can be dangerous and affect children’s health and respect. In conclusion from the 3 statements I made previously, this is why I think video games should be banned.
Topic: Should I ban video games?
Many people believe that violent video games should be banned, and state that video games can have a negative impact on people. In-game violence is even claimed by individuals to commit violence. Often, it's pretty obvious-violent violence, violent gender, or an unpleasant subject. And you will surely see your share of these things in upcoming games. Need to ban violent games? Many believe that violent video games should be banned because video games can have a negative impact on someone. In-game violence is even claimed by individuals to commit violence.
Want to play a violent game? These organizations emotionally paralyze young people when exposed to aggressive behavior and violence in video games and other media for extended periods of time, with nightmares and sleep problems, poor academic performance, and aggressiveness. The Little Rock Nine was a group of African American students who on September 4, 1957 went to class at Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and were detained by the National Guard. This episode is considered one of the most important events of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States.
The United States had for years a segregated educational system for African-Americans, and a much better and efficient one for whites. In 1954, the Supreme Court of the United States (Brown v. Board of Education) unanimously declared that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.
The Little Rock crisis, followed closely by the press, showed how the nine black students who decided to attend classes were initially prevented from entering school by order of the Arkansas governor, Orval Faubus. Later they were followed by crowds under threats of lynching. They were finally able to attend after the intervention of President Eisenhower, who sent the Army Division 101, putting the Arkansas Military Guard under federal military command.

B- In “Ode to Autumn,” the poem’s speaker laments the passing of the season of autumn and the swift arrival of winter, which will deaden the beauty and liveliness of the autumnal outdoors. C- In “Ode to Autumn,” Keats portrays and addresses the season of autumn as a living being to reflect on themes such as growth, maturity, mortality, and the natural cycles of life. D- In "Ode to Autumn,” Keats praises the atmospheric beauty of the season of autumn and examines the differences and similarities it shares with the beautiful season of spring.
Answer:
Pretty sure it's C
Answer:
It's C "In “Ode to Autumn,” Keats portrays and addresses the season of autumn as a living being to reflect on themes such as growth, maturity, mortality, and the natural cycles of life."
Explanation:
The first summary mentions the innocence of creatures, but that topic is not explored in the poem.
The second summary states that the poem’s speaker laments the departure of autumn, whereas in the poem, the speaker seems to be reveling in its final days.
The third summary correctly describes the poem, which touches upon the themes of growth, maturity, and mortality by presenting images such as “maturing sun,” “later flowers,” and “wailful choir.”
The fourth summary mentions the differences and similarities between spring and autumn, but the poem only focuses on autumn.
