Read the entry from Bruno’s a blog about animal welfare

I encourage everyone to do what they can to help animals. Animals cannot fend for themselves, so it is up to us to protect them. So you might think, "What can I do to make a difference? I’m just one person." Well, you can make a major difference. Last year alone, more than twenty thousand dogs and cats were rescued and adopted into loving families. The effort of each person counts and has a huge impact.

How can Bruno further develop his claim in this entry?

Include links to stories of animals being adopted.
Show images of animals being groomed.
Provide a video that teaches people how to train their animals.
Show images of dogs playing at a park.

The attack on 9/11 resulted in many casualties, and billions of people around the world watched this happen, putting shock and fear into everyone's lives. Although this tragic event happened, the world somewhat benefitted and learned from their mistakes after this. For one, we can definitely see how security has gone up in airports and how countries take things like this seriously. Bush, states, “Operation Enduring Freedom was the American-led international effort to oust the Taliban government in Afghanistan and destroy Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda group based there. It began on October 7. Within two months, U.S. forces removed the Islamic extremists from power.” This shows just how the U.S took what happened and what they did. The whole world learned this one big lesson, and some smaller complicated ones with it.

What is the question?

In a well-developed paragraph (six to seven sentences), describe how you think your world would be different if you were unable to see or hear.

Choose any three of the following to include in your response. BE SURE TO EDIT!

* Describe the things you would miss the most.
* Discuss how you would communicate with your friends, your family, and others.
* How do you think you would feel going out in public knowing you had an obvious disability?
* How would you express your feelings and ideas?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

I personally think that it would be totally different. You wouldn't be able to see what people look like or be able to hear what they're saying. You'd have to learn braille. I've tried to learn braille and it's very hard. I honestly don't think I'd be able to learn how to read braille. I would also feel really bad for the people that are blind and deaf. Just us having those privileges and they don't makes me feel bad for them.

Memories of a Memory
Have you ever witnessed something amazing, shocking or surprising and found when describing the event that your story seems to change the more you tell it? Have you ever experienced a time when you couldn't really describe something you saw in a way that others could understand? If so, you may understand why some experts think eyewitness testimony is unreliable as evidence in scientific inquiries and trials. New insights into human memory suggest human memories are really a mixture of many non-factual things.

First, memory is vague. Imagine your room at home or a classroom you see every day. Most likely, you could describe the room very generally. You could name the color of the walls, the floors, the decorations. But the image you describe will never be as specific or detailed as if you were looking at the actual room. Memory tends to save a blurry image of what we have seen rather than specific details. So when a witness tries to identify someone, her brain may recall that the person was tall, but not be able to say how tall when faced with several tall people. There are lots of different kinds of "tall."

Second, memory uses general knowledge to fill in gaps. Our brains reconstruct events and scenes when we remember something. To do this, our brains use other memories and other stories when there are gaps. For example, one day at a library you go to quite frequently, you witness an argument between a library patron and one of the librarians. Later, when telling a friend about the event, your brain may remember a familiar librarian behind the desk rather than the actual participant simply because it is recreating a familiar scene. In effect, your brain is combining memories to help you tell the story.

Third, your memory changes over time. It also changes the more you retell the story. Documented cases have shown eyewitnesses adding detail to testimony that could not have been known at the time of the event. Research has also shown that the more a witness's account is told, the less accurate it is. You may have noticed this yourself. The next time you are retelling a story, notice what you add, or what your brain wants to add, to the account. You may also notice that you drop certain details from previous tellings of the story.

With individual memories all jumbled up with each other, it is hard to believe we ever know anything to be true. Did you really break your mother's favorite vase when you were three? Was that really your father throwing rocks into the river with you when you were seven? The human brain may be quite remarkable indeed. When it comes to memory, however, we may want to start carrying video cameras if we want to record the true picture.

Which line from the text best explains the main problem with recalling details of a scene or room? (5 points)

a
You could name the color of the walls, the floors, the decorations
b
Memory tends to save a blurry image of what we have seen rather than specific details
c
Her brain may recall that the person was tall, but not be able to say how tall when faced with several tall people
d
In effect, your brain is combining memories to help you tell the story

Answers

D because all of the things you remember are going to help you identify what you are trying to recall.

The line that explains the main problem is "Memory tends to save a blurry image of what we have seen rather than specific details".

What is the act of Recalling details?

The act of Recalling the details of a story is known to be the ability of a person to be able to listen and also know or retain some key points made by a speaker.

This type of listening is known to be vital for people as it will help you remember instructions that are known to be complicated and one can be able to multi-task.

Conclusively, In the line from the text, the option that best explains the main problem with recalling details of a scene or room is the human memory  often keeps a blurry image of what was seen instead of the key details.
